STILL having LIPS problems!!!

I've tried logging in for the LIPS chat but the chat room keeps kicking me off of IE.

How? Every time I go to the Java website and hit download the free Java download, IE shuts down.

if it comes down to it, you can contact support at the java website, and ask for an update disk...

I uninstalled and reinstalled Java and I'm finally back! Just saw the pic from last chat though. Crying or Very sad

I appreciate that I got some computer-savy fellas who was able to hook a brutha up. Cool

And shouts out to you, Alley, for scheduling a make-up session (whether it was just for me or not)!!! Very Happy

I assume it's gonna be Sunday instead of Saturday. Do you know when you'll be able to post the pics from the last chat?

Just to give you a heads up. I had problems similiar to yours earlier in this year. The problems stemmed for the newer Java updates. Just because you can see Alley's last picture, doesn't mean it will update the next time she starts showing new images. Confused

I don't know if they have fixed all of the problems with the newer versions of Java. That is why I went back to the last older version that works fine for Alley's webcam (& other similiar webcams).

Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 12 is what I use. the direct address is http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/5.0_12/index.html

If you have Java problems again, use this version. It is old & is no longer supported by Sun/Java anymore, but I have had no problems with it.

Be sure to disable the automatic updates, or just refuse the update every time they ask.

I am going to use this version until I can't no more.
