Seeing how large Zerun was Keleindis stood up a little straighter to not look as puny, females were known for their smaller stature compared to the male protoss, but luckily for her he was more interesting to the terrans then her unveiled face. the Terran's reaction to Zerun made her want to put them in timeout like the children they were

Commander Dailen was talking to Zerun when Keleindis noticed ghost Katmir walk over to a terran that was suffering from the backlash of the void when Zerun in his exhaustion lost momentary control which she was at that moment trying to help him keep in check using her limited experience with it ...she wasn't that young in Protoss standards but she was new to being a Dark Templar.

After politely greeting the others as he was introduced to them Zerun reached into a small pouch in his armor and produced a data crystal he had taken from his ship.

"A rouge Cerebrate has awakened and brought forth his entire swarm. I managed to wound the beast but he will recover soon, and when he does he will strike against everything he can."

"This data crystal contains everything that I was able to discover during my escape as well as what my ships sensors managed to record."

He reached out and handed the crystal to Commander Frost

"I suggest you review this carefully before you decide whether to aid me or not."

He then turned to Keleindis.

"My long range communicator has been disabled, I need you to send a message to your prelate containing my report as well as a request for aid. These Zerg must be destroyed quickly." Zerun began to turn but paused and added almost as an afterthought. "Your command of the Void is surprisingly strong for one not born to our tribe. You have the potental to become a powerful Dark Templar." For a second he wished he still retained the abilities of the High Templar, just so he could feel exactly how that remark effected the proud female Protoss.

"Excuse me for a moment Commander." Zerun turned and moved over to the large Terran warrior. He had not realized that anyone was standing that close to his ship when he exited and the Terrans large size had allowed him to absorb far more of the energy than was safe. Zerun reached out and laid a hand on the Terrans shoulder, and sparks of blue light began to flash across his eyes. Katmir looked at him sharply, the Ghost didn't know exactly what the the Templar was doing but he could sense that something was going on. For a second nothing happened then a dark mist seemed to swirl out of the large Terran's shoulder then dissipate into Zerun's arm.

"He will be fine now, overexposure to the void is unpleasant but not harmful if properly taken care of." He then turned to the Commander for a final time. "It seems my options are few commander. Until I receive further orders I am at your service."

Dailen took the crystal and nodded. He watched Zerun walk over to help a Terran when he heard someone behind him. Turning around he spotted a Timber Wolf and smiled.

“You must be Gerevan Talon of the Tavobie. I was told you recently boarded. Sorry for not coming to you sooner but things have been busy.”

Dailen looked back at Zerun’s ship and sighed.

“And they’re about to get even busier it seems. Gerevan, I know you came to ask for my help but I might need your help in this matter. With a Cerebrate on the lose and who knows how many Zerg I’m going to need all the help I can get.”

He turned to the rest and sighed.

“Gentleman, when Zerun and Katmir are finished I suggest we connive in the conference hall so that way we can see what Zerun has brought us. From there we can plan on what our next step will be. Keleindis, I would also like for you to come with us and see what Zerun has brought us that way you can send the proper information to you superiors so they’ll know how to proceed.”

In the Training bay...

Brock watched as the last of the trooper finished the course and nodded. He then spoke over the intercom.

“Well done all of you. Go ahead and get cleaned up and have the rest of the day off. Ekrance, I would like to see you before you head out.”

The doors opened up to allow them to leave

"I'm fine i just... i just need to cech my breath..." Kynith wispered the last part as memories started to blind his sight. Kynith just stood there as a single tear went down his face. No matter how hard he tryed he could not get controle of his memories. They just kept flooding in. Kynith was almost at the breaking point when his sight bagain to clear and he saw blue sparks. Kynith saw the dark mist leave him and go into the protoss. "So that is the void... That would explain the air around that one protoss. Oh and Thanks." Kynith said as he started to walk away trying to finnish putting thing back into place.

Agent Mahal looked between the Commander and the Dark Templar. "Perhaps we should escort Counselor Zerun to Sick Bay before proceeding, sir?"

Then, his ears pricked up when Admiral Talon entered the hangar. He stood at attention and saluted, calling out in his loud voice, "Attention on deck! There is an Admiral on board!"

Maintaining his military posture, Katmir looked and raised an eyebrow in query at Commander Frost.

Keleindis felt a small surge of pride when Zerun commended her on her command of the void but it was quickly dampened by the news of the Zerg awakening

"i shall send a message to the prelate immediately"

she strode quickly to her ship and teleported inside to send the message and also grabbed her face veil she reported to the prelate on every thing word for word and even told him of what she saw in Zerun's mind when he lost control of the void and she was helping which even from this far away she had not lost the connection with him helping him keep control

Zerun quickly concealed his amusement at the young Templar's eagerness as she hurried off to her ship. Her ability to touch his mind gave her most of the information she would need, most being the key word. Well he may not be able to send thoughts to others anymore but with her in contact with his mind he could direct her attention to certain thoughts.

"Have your ship link with mine young Templar, the computer has information your Prelate could use."

As he did so he turned to great this newcomer, an Admiral on a rebel vessel how unusual. Once the traditional formal greetings had been exchanged he turned his mind to more serious maters.

First he turned to Katmir
"That will not be necessary, there is very little Terran medicine can do for me that I have not already done."

Then he turned to the two high ranking furs standing in front of him.
"Whatever you decide to do I suggest you do it soon. With my drive damaged as it was there is a chance I left enough of a trail for the zerg to follow. It will take them much longer to get here than I did but they may be on their way."

Gerevan smiled as the young soldier saluted. Saluting back he then turned to Dailen.

"That is understandable Admiral Dailen. I can assure you that my men will be of all the help they can be. Now then if I am to be attending this matter in the conference hall. I suppose I shall get briefed there on recent matters correct..... Oh and Zerun I have a few pilots that could come as some use of a escort. If you need them."

He stood back straight, tall and strong. He hoped he had enough skills men and firepower to truly be of any help and less dead weight.

Dailen nodded to all of them and lead them to the breifing room. Once there he played the information and was horrified at what he saw.

‘So many Zerg! Dammit, this sector can’t handle two Zerg threats. The Queen of Blades would be bad enough. Still, there is time.’

He turned to the others and sighed.

“Alright, listen everyone I’m taking everything that I have at my disposal to this system. Agent Mahal, contact your government and tell them to send any and all available troops that they can without weakening their own defenses. I’ll send word out to a few others that owe me. Hopefully I’ll have enough troops to stem this tide. Talon, I’m going to need your help as well. Combined with both the Thor’s Hammer, your ship and a few others I can muster we may have enough to defeat the Zerg. We’ll also need the might of the Protoss as well.”

Dailen pressed a few buttons and a star chart appeared. He pointed to a dead world that was only one jump away from the system that the Zerg were attacking.

“We’ll gather our forces here. In eight days we’ll attack. Eight days gentlemen, no more or less. After eight day’s I’ll be attacking the first infested world!”

In the training bay...

Brock smiled and nodded at Ekrance.

“You did well in there. In fact, I’ve decided that you will be perfect for leading the team. I here by appoint you at commander of the Infiltrators. You’ll have the rank of Second Lieutenant.”

He pulled out two gold bar’s and handed them to him.

“The Commander will have a formal ceremony to pin those on you, congratulations!”

Dragoes was furious but quickly calmed down. So the Protoss escaped. It did not matter. He had seized three worlds already. The Terrans had evacuated to the last planet, called Ressen. There they hoped to hold their own. For Dragoes it did not matter, soon the Terran would fall and he would build up his swarm and conquer the Koprulu Sector. He gathers his warriors and prepared to attack. He would give the Terrans a small reprieve and launch his attack in eight days.

On Ressen and distress signal was sent out for help and the survivors only prayed that help would arrive soon.

Katmir activated the comm unit on his Ghost uniform to relay the call for reinforcements to the Umojan Protectorate. The minicams on his suit transferred the data on the Zerg the Dark Templar had brought. He tapped the plasma sensitive keys with the instructions Commander Frost had given him verbatim.

He thought, The Zerg are a damned pestilence... Eight days until head-on engagement? It's a start. And maybe I'll get back home in time for Connie's birthday. That'd be supernova.

Once the coordinates of the battle zone were sent to his government agency, he sent a short and sweet message to his fair Connie.

"Two weeks tops in the rocket's red glare, baby. True Love Always, your space cowboy."

Agent Mahal shut off his Umojan comlink and awaited further instructions.

Keleindis did as she was asked by Zerun contacting the prelate he received the information with shock

"Keleindis i shall send you and councilor Zerun some back up but they might not be there till after you engage the Zerg ...i wish you the power of Tassadar in your time of trial"

Keleindis said good bye to the prelate and put her face veil on before closing up the comlink and leaving the ship again she looked over at the group of people and sighed

"councilor Zarun i have a bit of skill in the healing arts would you like me to try?" she asked looking at him trying to suppress her fear of the up coming battle

As the meeting broke up and each member wandered off, most completely focused on the disturbing new they had just heard, Zerun halted briefly to speak to Commander Frost.

"Commander I would like to attend any planning session you may hold. Destroying the Zerg has been my sole purpose for centuries. I believe I have a few tricks up my sleeve that may prove useful."

As he left the briefing room headed back to his ship Keleindis fell in beside him. Offering to provide some healing.

"That will not be necessary young one, all I need is some rest and you should conserve your energy. You may need it very soon."

She was afraid he could feel it, and he felt her try to hide it when she realized he knew. Zerun stopped and turned to her commanding her full attention.

"Do not be ashamed of your fear young one. Fear is a powerful force, one you must use, it sharpens your mind, warns you of danger, and sometimes it is what allows a young warrior to become an old one. A man without fear dies quickly, often taking some of his allies with him."

Zerun continued to his ship leaving the young Templar to consider his words. Sleep... yes sleep would be good. He would take his own advice and rest conserving his power and drawing on the void. It seems they would need its strength very soon.

Talon stood undaunted, he was ready. Though he felt deep inside him the fear of it all. Watching as the many people wandered off. He figured it was time for him to return to his ship and prepare himself. Though Talon felt that his few fighters could provide. However Talon could not bear to ask for additional troops. It would be rude.

"Commander Frost, I shall go and prepare my ship for the battle before us. If there is anything else you would like to report to me. I shall be back on my ship."

Turning he walked out of the chamber. His hands behind his back, and his torn sash flowing behind him. He made his way back to the hangar where he prepared to once again return to his ship.

Dailen was soon alone in the briefing room. He sighed and sat down. In eight days he would gather a force that would go and face the Zerg. He turned and pressed a few buttons. In a matter of minutes a Dingo’s face was on screen.

“Ah, Dailen Frost, its good to see you again. To what do I owe...”

“Spare me Jenner, I’m not in the mood. Listen, I need your help. Do this for me and we’re even.”

Jenner listened as Dailen explained what was happening. Once done Jenner sighed and nodded.

“Very well, but if we survive this then we’re done. No more debts to pay, no owing someone something. You go your way and I’ll go mine. Agreed?”

Dailen nodded.

“Agreed!”

“Very well, I can get you at least two battle cruisers and some infantry but thats about it.”

“No problem, anything you can send will aid us in defeating the Zerg.”

After working out some last minute details Jenner signed off.

“One down, about a near dozen to go.”

He hoped the others would be able to help. He would be cutting it slim and there was very little room for mistakes. He pressed a few more buttons and a Female Otters face popped up.

Kynith fallowed everyone to the briefing room. He decided to stay out becouse he hasn't even reported in to the captain. It wasn't long before everyone came out but Dailen. Kynith then poked his head in to see what Dailen was up to. After noticing that he was talking to someone viea com screen Kynith went back to where he was sitting at before and fell asleep.

Ekrance started walking away and he reached his room

'Well I didn't really expect this to be so easy... I got into the Thor's Hammer and I'm already into an Elite Team... this is going to be easier than I exepcted'

Agent Mahal enters his personal quarters and has his computer play neoclassical death metal music before reaching into the small fridge for his hidden cache of Feer Beer. Opening a frosty bottle, he sits at his console and uploads the logistics data on the Zerg-infested planet for strategic study.

Zerun sits meditating surrounded by a blue light, absorbing nutrients and preparing himself for the coming battle. Data glows on a screen in front of him showing him everything they know about the Zerg and his allies. It did not look good even with the reinforcements Commander Frost was calling in they were horribly outnumbered. From what he could see they only had two options; first they could employ a hit and run type campaign attacking outlying colonies and rescuing any survivors before disappearing into hyperspace once more, or they could do a full frontal assault destroy the cerebrate and then wipe out the confused and leaderless swarm. Data flowed and changed and inspiration struck.

"Computer contact Commander Frost tell him I have a plan."
