Sure thing dragon.
Jerin, one question, what kind of 360 did you get? Elite, arcade, custom, or the new 360S? |

Let's see if I remember it correctly:
Gamertags are a bit of a gray area and are currently acceptable. It promotes community and is less likely to be used as a venue for content sharing. IMs are more likely to be abused for piracy and that's why they aren't allowed to be shared. |

Oh yes, and people just have no way of sharing their IMs over XBox live... which ultimately amounts to the same as sharing IMs from point 1. Therefor, negating the argument that gametags pose no risk of content sharing. |

| Silvador just drop it. Sharing gamertags is sharing your screen name to another community. And there is nothing wwrong with gaming with friends. Its just the same as us postingg our fa screen names. There's nothing wrong with it becouse its public information. A email or I'm name is private information. |

What!? How is an IM screen-name more private than posting an FA name? Posting an FA name poses more risk of "content leakage" than gametags. This debate is seriously flawed. We already have people signing up to the site and leaking stuff, how is not letting friends exchange IMs preventing it? I just don't see the logic in the argument. We're all... mostly, friends here, not to mention loyal members. 9 out of 10 of us have a subscription.
I honestly don't see the logic in it. |

so more or less you where doing the exact thing your moaning about. Are you even reading before replying? I don't think you are. The fact that I at some point inquired about a friend's email/IM has in no way anything to do with this debate. Your 'point' is invalid.
I am not 'moaning' about anything. I am simply voicing my opinion that Ronald's reasoning is flawed. Yes, I said it, so sue me, it's my opinion and I have a right to it. And no, I am not getting worked up over this. I am merely pointing out that I, personally, do not see the reasoning that Ronald apparently sees. |

| Silv its not ronalds reasoning. Its the rules of the ccbill admistration. He just trying to make sure that we fallow the rules. And its his job as the forum and site admin to make sure we follow those rules |

| I don't think that the idea for GTs are in anyway a gray area. The tags themselves are public information, so they are in no way 'private' information. The rules are that we may not give out private information. |

On xbox.com or any state tracking site for a game like bungie. Same with FA or DA accounts. I'M and emails have to be asked for or given to by the owner. That silv is the diffrence. You can't simply search for them |
