I think it's a disturbance in the force =P or maybe just some pencil strokes.

There appears to be a pattern over it, so I'm guessing it's supposed to be there. The artist could have done that to make it seem like a poster with a ripped corner. But that's just me throwing ideas out there.

This is turning into quite the forensic investigation. I think it's the butler. Yeah, he did it, greedy bastard. He was trying to get Federico to sign some forged document to get he's greedy little butler hand on the summer estate.

Pencil strokes, 90% sure, but it's not a question of what it's a question of why.

...honestly? I didn't even notice the cover had that, indeed the cover game does not show that black stroke.
I suppose some hidden photoshop layer came over...
But it wasn't menat to be there :D
