I've seen parkour, and I am not exactly the kind of person to do such things. A few years earlier, maybe, but not now.

I've been doing it for about five months. It's so fun to watch people walk down some steps, while I get down by wall running. I always get those WTF looks and I find them funny.

((BioRust,

I had a wall-runner or free-runner, or whatever you guys are called try to run past me once using the old "I'm-Ninja-Fast" kinda wall running... and proceed to collaspe in a heap in front of me. And, while I was helping him back to his feet I was laughing and said, "So... I guess Newton was right." The real irony is the guy had no idea who Newton was.))

That is true irony in its purest form, know not want not. Meaning you don't know, but at the same time you care not, which supports the 'ignorance is bliss' concept.

He must have been inexperienced. We test out any manuvers we attempt and go through step by step. If he had managed to fall on something as simple as a wallrun, then he must have been trying to show off. And that is something that is not tolerated.

yea, I sort of thought about free-running after I saw it in the movies, but then I saw the numerous videos of guys screwing up moves and breaking bones. Decided I like my arms and legs facing in their current direction. Still I gotta give mad props to the guys that are crazy enough to do it.

PK is one of those things that keeps me from going to France and joining the Brit Army... but then again I would probably not do the latter giving my Irish...ness.

Yes there is an inherent risk involved, but Parkour is a discipline and can be fun as all hell when you get a few manuvers down. :P

Well, if you do try it, make sure you don't rush into it. You'll end up hurting yourself.

And Dragon, that is why I stick to Parkour. I like to keep my feet on the ground.

I've seen parkour videos and thought that would be neat. I would have to lose a lot of weight though but if I wanted to I think I could do it. However, I would like to have someone teach me the moves that way I can do it right. Course, its just a thought right now.
