I know this has been mentioned before, but I'd like to ask again. Would it be possible to have a section made for fursona threads and talk about what our fursonas might do in various situations and such. Please?
I like the way we've got a roleplaying section, but seeing as many roleplayers create multiple RP threads, that each have their own support threads, it's impossible to keep the fursona related threads anywhere near the front page for long. It's come to the point where there is simply no desire for me to create or bump such threads, because they'll be buried within days and completely forgotten. To be honest, I'm having less and less to do here, because the threads I enjoy are being more or less ignored.
I think it would help a lot to have a section for talking about our fursonas and what they like to eat or do in bed and such. I don't know how most others here feel about it, but those are the kinds of threads I like to participate in, and lately I've had very little opportunity to do so. If those threads had a section of their own, they'd be much more visible and would likely attract more attention and get more replies as well.
So would it be possiblle to get a Fursona Section? I'll gladly help by sending you links to threads that can be moved there, including the odd few that pop up in the main PBB section from time to time. |

I second this motion ...
Actually Symphony you could probably open a fursona discussion thread here in the discussion forum ....unless you want an entirely different forum?
i would be happy to join in something like that i need to explore my characters a little more
and i want you to have a reason to stay ...i don't know much about you but i like you already |

((If we can divy up the forums slightly more, I'd be all for it as well. One set of forums for all the people who seem to join only to role-play, and a second forum for those people looking to expand on what their character is like, questions about lifestyles in the 1890s, clothing/fashion, jobs/careers, etc., etc., etc.
For example, if I have Symphony's intent correct, the forum could be for things like "A day in the life of your fursona", "Where does your fursona live", and "Money and Bon Bon."
Is that kinda what you were thinking about, Symphony?
Symphony's posts don't tend to be rping stuff. They're more... thought provoking questions, or how your character interacts in the 1890s sort of life-styles.
Anyway, Symphony, it is good to hear from you again. I was having trouble keeping up as the only brown-furred character hanging around.)) |

I also agree with Symphony's idea.
It would mean a place where RPers would post up their Intro's and other usefull bits while keeping the Rp's separated, so that we don't lose track of certain threads.
One would be for Fursons and info about them, the other would be for Rp's |

| Its a valid point. Hopefully it would work out if Vanessa and Ronald apply it the right way. I'm sure its not quite so easy to just add to the site. |

Okay. So the general request here is the need for a separate "Fursona" Forum. And a separate "Roleplaying" Forum.
I'll get one made. |

If you guys can give me a hand in moving all the "Fursona" threads to the new forum that will be great.
Just drop me an email and give me a link to every fursona thread that you think should be moved.
Include those you create yourself at the top of the list and any that you think should be moved after that. Maybe separate the links by saying here are mine. And here are the ones I think should be moved.
This will greatly help me organize and clean up the RP forum. |

| on the bright side since most of the fursonas and Fursona related questons are located in the RP Sectio you only have to look through 8 pages rather then 30+ pages to find all the related content. |

One of the things that would really help is to have the OP (creator of the RP thread), reserve the first posting or edit their first posting to include links to the resource threads to help others be able to join in our refer to background on the fursonas involved.
Either that or people just need to link to their fursonas thread in their signature. |

There'll be plenty for you to take part in. Don't be afraid of bumping old threads if you find them interesting. Once they've been moved to the new section, it'll be so much easier to find them.
and thank you, I hope I'll be able to add something interesting soon.

I don't know if brown is an underrated color, but that might be an idea for a new thread. |

Yay! I am glad to see this new awesome addition. This will be really useful for the future Bon Bon RPG game we are working for.
Sorry for the absence from the forum on these days , I was a little sick after the V. Day with the cold, but now I am recovering , snif! :)
Rome was so rainy and cold this month, we had a wonderful snow few days ago , and this is really rare in my city, it was fantastic :D |

I'm not much of a roleplayer, but this sounds interesting. :curious:

It's quite alright. It's the season for being sick. Though personally, I'm pretty tired of the snow by now. |

looks like you might need to get some practice then.
Bon Bon RPG that sounds like fun what kind are you hoping for kinda like a front view rpg where you click arrow buttonsto get to places or a third person style where the furson actually walks like in Fable |

you can put the request in at anytime. I put mine in shortly after I joined. You aren't approved for it however until you've been on for six months. |

| I also think Symphony's idea is a good one ... I would further recommend splitting the new forum into RPG and non RPG fursona sections ... some people might like to explore their characters and interact with other fursonas without wanting or being able to join an RPG. |

if it could be possiable ronald here is a few slight ideas i had for the rp part of the form...
i wouldnt mind seeing it have sub catagories.... like(heres a few examples i will color code for sub sub catagories.) (red=sub cata, cyan=subs for the sub catas)
furson houses/apartments:
outside town limits (for those who live inside town borders)
inside town limits. (for those who live about a mile or more out of town not in another contry...)
shops/market
acssecories shops(you know like cloths shoes jewlery type shops. you can reword it)
crafting stores(for like carpenders black smiths and such...)
alley ways.(you know for those who want at least a tab pit of privicy....)
pleasure castle( well i cant remeber every thing whats in here...beside every thing awsome... )
ball room
privit rooms
four aces suite
bar gabling room.
pleasure girls rooms(for those who live in the castle)
kitchen
but yat some thing like that so its easyer to find topics... well you dont have to do this its i am just to seeing stuff sorted.... ^^" |

I'm going to hold off on the suggestion of making sub forums and multiple forums etc.
A couple of reasons, is I have had alot of side comments about too many forums now and people are having to go all over to check and keep up. Some areas get ignored.
Also- its too many forums to moderate and spammers will just end up cluttering all of them and I'll have to go through all that.
Our current forum doesn't support self moderated user craeted forums or threads.
We would like to have someday that new global account registration system that would allow people to create their own 'RPG' sections that they can invite people into and moderate their own.
Very similar to Habbo hotel where you get your own room. Each area is an RPG of its own. Except we won't be making it 'walking' around, more just click based. So it is essentially like a forum/sub forum. |

Have you ever considered allowing some of the forum members to become volunteer mods with limited power? Say flagging suspected spam threads to make it easier for you to remove them, or even just a few extra pairs of eyes to make sure everything is taken care of? |

Actually, a few members have already been helping me out with moding the forum through sending me private emails.
I appreciate the help alot!
A few have sent me direct links to spam threads to move.
And threads that require actual moderation that violates our site rules.
So I think just emailing me would be really best. It catches my attention when you email me.
We're looking into a new Forum system (or an upgrade) that will allow me to improve the features we want/need.

| I like the way the forums are now. I think that people can better pick the forums they are interested in now, and can pretty much ignore the ones they aren't interested in. I don't really visit the RP section, so it's nice to not have to look through it for the threads I'm interested in. |

not exactly pertaining to PBB, but since this is the thread for asking Ronald questions...
I've seen some people post their gamer tags for XBOX live in the past, but I'm wondering if sharing this info constitutes a violation of the privacy policy, or if we're allowed to share gamer tags, friend codes, and the like over this site. |
