Site down?

Is anyone else having trouble getting onto the site? I can't visit the forum directly, and the main site keeps redirecting me to godaddy.com. anyone know what's up?

Looks like the domain was hijacked. Or expired, anyway. Took me a while to find my way back here.

I tried IMing Ron and sent an e-mail, I hope the domain doesn't get squatted and held for ransom. I'm glad that it wasn't the site folding, though, based on Vanessa's reaction.

My thought was that the PBB site was unexpectedly shutdown for some reason or someone decides to do his/her April Fools day prank early. ^^!

Yeah- I had it renewed but I guess the renewal process must have glitched out.

No. Hijacking.

Just a glitche in the domin name server reverting to GoDaddy.

It's back and running.

Try clearing your disk cache.

I know Gantros did that and it worked.

Or I can tell you what DNS to change on your network options and it will work.


If you know how to change your DNS configuration in your network options, you can manually change it to a widely known popular DNS.

(instead of obtain automatically, from your local provider).

For Internet Protocol for TCP/IP
Under "Obtain DNS server address automatically" You want to select. Use the following DNS.

Primary(Preferred) DNS server: 4.2.2.1
Alternate: 4.2.2.2

The realy strange thing was I tryed googling for the site and it would not come up on the lists. I mean if a site shuts down or is removed do they really move that fast to take it of the listings too?
