i love the cover to and i thinck i got whats going on between simon blue and queen eldiwess but im not gonna spoil it if any of you haven't figerd it out yet.

allright. so first things first, yes i agree that the outfit miss vanessa wearing is amazing

and it seems miss vanessa got a new hair style? its not tied on the back anymore it seems, I kinda like this style better personally

as for the entire story and cover atm, well...its touching to see a character emotion drawn to cry like that, its so real

as for this secret agreement....I have a feeling that letter have something to do with betty, red, and mary, perhaps about their arranged marriage, and maybe with the queen's disappearance? But I can;t really be sure

In any event, it looks like this is the moment where we all jump into the Wayback Machine and go for a plunge into the past. Be nice to know how it all goes. The past is what makes the future possible, after all.

On a side note, I knew Simon would be kinda cute when thin. I get a US Civil War Romance Story kind of feeling from him. "Frankly, Edelweiss, I don't give a damn." :P

Yes, I believe this is the thread for issue 9. At least it's where I'll be posting as this one was first.

There has been some discussion about Edelweiss being Mary's mother. There are reasons that would be for it, as well as against.

Reasons to support it:
*Edelweiss' love of children, perhaps trying to fill the void left from not being with her own daughter.

*When Edelweiss tells Betty about Mary, it's at a time where it would seem that you would have had to have been there in order to know.

*Similar features

Reasons against:
*The pregnancy in her role as queen of the Delight Castle, would have been complicated to say the least.

*Would have meant that her and Simon were lovers and it is a bit hard to imagine being that happy about someone who you had relations with being banished.

Of course, these are always debatable, but I thought I'd bring them up.

Did you ever feel like a broken record? I sure as hell do, constently appologizing for my lengthy absences as of late...

But asside from the town missing it's local drunk as of late, I was very impressed when I returned to find the beginning of issue nine, and even more impressed by the story so far. These minor mistakes people have brought up, I can honestly say I didn't even notice them until they were brought up. Regardless, very well done Ms. Vanessa. I look forward to the rest of this story.
