| Word from the wise... or at least someone who knows. Never EVER hurt your back if you can help it. I've been in pain since 1:40 PM today. My lower back HURTS. Went to the chiropractor and got some of the kinks worked out but it still hurts. I don't know about you but I would rather have my hand or ankle broken, AGAIN, then deal with back pain. |

| you want back pain? try having the doctors not wait for the anesthetic to kick in properly before sticking the big ass needle in your spine for a bone marrow biopsy, there's ya fuckin' back pain. all i remember is screaming and a blinding pain down my back and left leg and i was already half under. i'm told i was heard half way down the hall. |

| I know that pain all too well ever since my accident awhile back. It always works from the leg and causes excruciating amounts of pain to shoot up from my lower back so it gets very tiring after awhile. |

| I'm more familiar with back pain than I'd care to be myself. Though, in my case, back trouble runs in my family a bit and I've never really done anything to injure my back. |

When i got into a car accident a couple years ago, I flew out the windshield (I wear seatbelts now) and landed a few yards away. Surprisingly I got up, theeeen the pain sunk in. It felt like someone was sticking a hot iron rod up my spine. After seven weeks of therapy I'm fine, but my doctor said that if I had gone another 3 feet, I would have split my skull on the curb ::blink:: (that is not something you want to hear from a doctor).
But good luck with your back pain, try some icy hot. |

| LOL no its not that. I hurt my back many years ago. Every now and then it gets stupid on me. I was at the gym and this chiropractor was there giving free nerve scans and for a $20 donation for a charity they gave out a free consultation and XRay. Come to find out my back is out of alinement and has been slowly deteriorating. So I've been going to him to get my back adjusted. I'm hoping my back pain is just my back trying to adjust to being realigned and will not happen again. Its starting to feel better but still hurts. |

I believe the saying is it gets worse before it gets better. I know a little bit about what you're going through, as my mother had to go to a chiropractor to get treated for whiplash. |
