i was thinking that maybe a sci-fi setting would be cool. something for nerds like me. i'm not saying the victorian setting is bad, i'm just saying that it's kinda being a little over done. so maybe put the characters in the future. some ideas i had were like; a star wars kinda theme, or star ocean, etc....
please give me some feedback of what you all think |

| Sorry, but that's really a bad idea. How is the Vistorian setting overdone? I personally find it refreshingly original compared to something as widely used as sci-fi. It's also a much sexier setting. :P |

| Not to mention that the traditional attitudes of the time period just make Bon Bon that much more of a guilty pleasure. |

| hmmm. i do love the victorian setting as much as the next person, but i also like to see some change every once in awhile. i dont mean to change the main story entirely, just another one of the side stories is what i was getting at. maybe a story with a vampire hunter D setting where it's both sci-fi and victorian. i'm just throwing some ideas up there. |

Ideas are always a good thing ^_^
However, I personally feel a sci-fi setting for the characters in Pleasure Bon Bon wouldn't really fit too well. I think the Victorian setting is quite refreshing, and perfect for the story Vanessa is telling in these comics.
Side stories where the characters are taken to different situations could be a fun thing, but I guess Vanessa doesn't have time for such a thing...and that this might rely more on eventual fancomics created to her? |

| perhaps a non-canon side comic, say a handful of pages long. for the pure chance to see BonBon in say 2895. i think it might be interesting to see the town a thousand years into the future. |

If not for a new setting, think up a new character and see if that fills your needs. Works for me, a lot of the time I seem to incorporate the main character from Prototype, but then again I've probably been playing it too much. I just listen to some music and think about whatever pops into my head, which most often happens to be something gory, even though it never really fits into the stroy that well.
Just try things out and if you get something good make a fan comic about it. |

| I disagree with this completaly, the setting is still fantastic, and i dont want it changed one bit. Too much is being set in the future, when the past is usually just as good. And I dont think Bon Bon whould be as good. I mean, its still going too be Vanessa's wonderfull artwork. But, I still kinda think its ment too be old fashioned |

| i do appreciate all the feedback. i really do. i originally wanted to throw the dark ages concept up there, but vixine comics already does that. and i agree with everyone. the victorian setting is wonderful, and i dont want it to change one bit. i just wanted to see how the characters would do in a different setting is all. |
