The bumping of Project: Aten, along with my own sentiments on the new RPs has stirred me to start an RP similar to Project: Aten. A few things I'd like to try differently, however, would be to include a stipulation for new players. If an adequate opportunity were to be provided for a new person to enter and there was a majority vote among the current players, then and only then would said person be able to enter. This would then provide an opportunity to shuffle the posting order as well, if it would be requested.

Also, there is to be no OOG or OOC postings in the game thread, that's what this thread is for.

This won't be set in Bon Bon, so feel free to create a new character.

well i think it a good idea im not to sure how progect: aten was played.

so what is this about if u dont mind me asking as it sounds like it will be a good RP if it hits off with people.

Prof. Artur Westerfield is seeking driven young adventurous students to join him on an expedition to the Amazon. Any and all those interested should speak to him in his office at the main campus.

This flyer will be appearing all over a college. There will be several positions available for the expeditionary group outside of these flyers, i.e. the guide.

The dear professor is a bit of a foolish old toad. His logic and better reasoning seem to be failing him, yet he is convinced he knows of a great mystery in the ancient ruins of a long forgotten Aztec city that he refers to as Triti Walu Ka. The old toad's constant companion is a rather exotic assistant. Mina Kiev is a seductive panthress, with midnight blue fur and enchanting green eyes. Although the professor is the one recruiting, it seems to be her that decides who will join them.

Age: 22

Skin: Black with vibrant orange and green markings

Origins: The professor is Ki'Leth's adoptive father and little else is known about his past. He knows the expedition has a chance to provide more answers of his past, and so has insisted that he come along. Though hesitant, Artur allowed it after Mina told him it would be wise to bring him along.

Clothing: At school, he often covers most of his skin, but in the jungle he wears the khaki exploring outfit, much like his father. He also has a strange amulet, but never shows it to anyone, except his father who has already known about it. It was the only thing left with the child.

indeed an intriguing idea i have a couple of ideas can i ask what time period it is occuring in, i assume would be around the current bon bon time, but i thought i would ask

ok i sort of understand where this is going.

but what time of year is it. is it set in a future time of year?

and what positionions are available.

and sorry if u dont understand my questions im not very good at explaining my self.

As far as timeframe, I'm thinking in the 1920s-1930s. As far as seasons go, it will be autumn, though the jungle will be hot and steamy regardless.

For positions, it's a matter of wanting to be a student or a hired hand. Hired positions would include at least one bodyguard, a boat captain, and a jungle guide. I would say 3 bodyguards would be the MOST that I would tolerate. For now I want to make sure there would be people for the other positions before going for a second bodyguard. Also, the guide and captain may become NPCs if I decide, as they will be out of rotation at first, as I will have the team meeting up for the first time before being in need of their services. If someone volunteers for one of these 2 positions, be aware that you may be in for a wait before posting. The guide will be introduced before the captain, so if you will be on a brief holiday near the start of this RP, you may want to choose the captain.

Sign-ups will be dependent on interest. I would say a week, but it is towards the holiday season, so there may not be as much activity here. A week will remain the tentative timeframe for sign-ups, but will last longer if there are only 4 or 5 participants by then.

Once we have enough people, a posting order will be established. This posting order will be set as a measure to prevent de-railing the story or having 2 or 3 people make up the majority of posts. Being the grand orchestrator and mastermind, I will be able to post out of my turn when I want, so as to introduce a new obstacle, plot twist, etc.

Ok, seems I have a few takers. As I mentioned before, this won't be set in Bon Bon, not near it and in a different time period. If you want to join, post a fursona description. If you wish to use your bon bon fursona, you may need to tweak a few things, so re-post it.
