Joke: The Pickle Slicer

This is an old one, so I'm sure most of you have heard this one before:

One day, a man who worked at a pickle factory for twenty years came home early, much to the surprise of his wife. When she asked why he was home so early, he explained that he had been fired. When she further asked why, he explained that for twenty years he had fought off this strange compulsion to stick his dick into the factory's pickle slicer, and that this morning he had finally given in to his urge.

Terrified, the wife instantly ran to her husband and pulled down his pants, only to see his penis fully intact and unhurt. Puzzled, she asked, "I don't understand, what happened with the pickle slicer?"

He replied, "She was fired too."
