Yep, I have to evacuate ... My house in on the Intracoastal - Supposed to evacuate by 2PM today. I have my house all closed up, just taking my time leaving (I hate to leave my house!!!) - So I will stay at my parents for the weekend. They are inland more. |

| wow that is scary, my house is everything to me. last year one of my trees fell on my antique trucks . of course there was no insurance. up here we get some big winds off the lake but nothing like you get in florida. i hope it blows over you some how. |

From the size of this storm I don't think it will "blow over" anyone in Florida ... It looks like entire state could be effected in some way or another. So best to hope for is that eye of the storm hits WAY north of me ??? But than that's bad too because it's like you're wishing it on someone else ???

ooo, no, Jana ... I love Florida! And I love living on the Intracoastal near the water. Potentially losing everything to hurricane is price one must pay for this privilege. It's all insured (LOL). In California they risk losing everything to earthquates ... In the mid-west, Tornadoes. In Czech (and Canada too) you have major snow storms and floods, and risk being turned into human ice cubes (LOL) - So every area has some potential natural disaster that could befall them.
Well I'll be heading to my parents house in a few hours time, and staying there for the weekend. They live inland.

Yes youa re right I think that Rej is prefer me to walk him.
I knowth monkeys make a s**t everywhere becouse they can not hold it.SO I wouldn´t minde to change diapers :P
I just heard that monkeys could be dengeres too.

Guess what? Another hurricane heading our way! "Ivan" .. Due here early next week. A lot of ppl panicking already ... That would make three hurricanes hitting us in two months! We can only wait and see and hope for the best.
I may have to take Jana's advice and move! Perhaps to Prague ??? |
