No, it's a Norwegian commercial for an engineering school. I would actually be kind of scared if that was real. |

I would definitely keep my eyes closed, and hit the deck.
Then again, how stupid is the engineer? If I saw that thing coming, I'd lock up the brakes. |

First I'd try the emergency brake cord. If that doesn't work...jump. |

I'd try to get as much speed as possible, otherwise the train would fall down at the highest point ;) (it could never come to stop in this short distance)
Oh and I would charge the passengers an extra amusement fee XD |

You're...a monster.
....and you would need the TGV to get that much speed. |

(what's a cheap stake? I couldn't find any translation :( )
Nah, no monster, I'm a senior salesperson ... oh could be close to monster *g*
One of my friends is an engineer, we started calculating on how fast the train has to be, the diameter of the loop etc.
Must be a rocketdriven train to get enough speed to not to fall out of the loop. And the diameter of the loop has to be ridiculously big... :)
The TGV is to slow, the centrifugal force it would have in the loop would be to low to keep it on the track, gravity would win here :) |

I'm not sure if I spelled it right ^^!
Is just another word for a person who cares about money; instead of using the word "greedy." |

Edit: On a second thought: I don't even think "Cheap stake" is even a word XD |

Oh! So I did spelled the word correctly, I just made a mistake of putting them as two words, instead of one. :P
Thanks, Drofgod969. |

*Golf clap* Bravo! You're right about the TGV; I simply used it as a reference since it is currently the fastest ( steel wheel on steel rail) train in the world. In any case, using an unmodified train, gravity would win, since the couplers between the cars would never allow for that amount of stress, and the long, rigid frames of each car wouldn't allow for the trucks ( wheelsets) to pivot without becoming disconnected. :P |
