I just got to thinking about whether the town of Bon Bon has any official symbols, like a flag or coat of arms. Have there been any in the comic so far? I can't remember any, but I haven't paid attention either, as it's just something I've recently been thinking of.
I wonder what they would look like. :) |

| coat of arms i don't think was that important back then. but you asked "if" they had one... tell you the truth i don't know. If Vanessa drew one i know it would be a awesome coat of arms. The PBB cat would be pretty neat to see in a coat of arms... |

Now you've got me looking for some weird cat symbol.
And yes, I'm also certain that Vanessa could a really nice flag or coat of arms, if she hasn't already done so. |

A Flag, huh?
I'm not sure if the PBB cat would be a good symbol for BonBon, maybe some bright color on the flag will do.
Edit: on second thought, a cat symbol might be a good idea...but maybe just the face in the center and maybe some bright colors in the background :3. |

Same here. I haven't ever noticed that figure in the logo, though I've looked at it many times.
It's subtle stuff like that I'd imagine in a Bon Bon flag or coat of arms. |

if you look at the free side, there is a design of the castle as part of the menu with the flags on top.
the bonbon logo is in the flag for the castle delight. |

But is that supposed to be an actual flag in the Bon Bon world, or more of a logo for the site? |

Yes Ronald, also actually there is a sort of symbol. You can see it on the door of the coach in page 5 of issue 3. It's a yellow, red and black heart that looks like the shape and decoration of the heart badge in page 24 of the same issue.
Fundamentally for a flag I'd use that shape, a heart with that kind of decoration, that appears in Bon Bon since Betty got to the "throne" of the Delight Castle, and chose that shape since it resembles Edelweiss's pin. |

Oh ho! I don't recall hearing about that Vanessa. You explained what a heart badge was, but I don't think we ever heard that little tie in that it resembles Edelweiss's pin. Fascinating. |

Hmm, I think that my idea of Bon Bon and the Delight Castle has been a bit off. I hadn't though that the castle would have so much influence in the town, that it would dictate the symbol and flag.
But it's always interesting to learn something new :D |

Isn't it the one that Betty now wears? I think I've seen a comment about it somewhere, that Betty wears Edelweiss' pin. |

| Edelweiss is one of my favorite characters, and probably the one I'm looking forward to seeing again the most. Aside from her obvious beauty, she's a really interesting character, and she's such a mystery as well. |
