Greetings, everyone. I thought I would introduce myself here. I joined about a day ago but decided to explore a little before saying anything.

My fursona, Tadelesh, is a character I created some time ago for a MUD (text-based roleplaying game, for those of you who are unaware), and is an all-black tiger. However, he is also a mage, and created a permanent illusion of white stripes with silver edging. Just about everything he wears is white and/or silver. I may need to change a few things about him for him to fit in here, but I already have a description of his appearance for use in said game. I don't have his personality written down, but I can easily do that. His background is typed out, but several things may need to be changed, and several parts added, such as how he came to Bon Bon (I haven't worked those out yet).

Anyway, I think that's enough said for now. I hope I enjoy my time here, and hope to make many friends over the coming months (I daren't say years, though that's a possibility!)

P.S. I'd like to say thanks to Chessy for telling me about this place. It rocks. :D

Thank you, Ashton. Though really, you should never say never. What if the new person turns out to be the worst troublemaker ever, and makes no friends but a lot of enemies? Perhaps then it would be a bad thing. :wink:

Ah, fair enough. I did say I may have to tweak a few things for him to fit in. He was a monk before he became a mage, though I doubt you'd see one of those around Bon Bon either. Unless he was an ex-monk, of course. :P

I do plan on staying long enough to get an official avatar. Six months is plenty of time for me to fiddle with all the things about Tadelesh that need to be edited for Bon Bon, so I suppose I needn't worry about all that right away.

True, but that in no way means that one cannot be involved in occult research... afterall, the Victorian age was awash with folks involved in the Spiritualism movement, and there are quite a few famous mediums (of varying levels of credibility) that come from the era. Of course, if communing with the dead through seances and channelling aren't your thing, there's always prestidigitation and performance magic...

[Edit] Oh, and I do hope you plan on staying for much longer than 6 months... It's unfortunate that we seem to get folks sticking around just long enough to get an avatar, then "skipping out", so to speak...

I was contemplating the possibility of a fortune teller or soothsayer or something similar. I'm not certain though.

Perhaps, as there's not much time between us joining, we could work something out where we came to Bon Bon together? As there's such a similarity in appearance, perhaps brothers or at least related somehow? Tadelesh was originally an only child (or should I say cub?), but as already stated, I need to change some things already, so that could be done. We don't have to though.
