A fantastic Bejeweled game Bon Bon style! This game was worth the wait to me, and since I'm fairly good at Bejeweled, I hope to see Betty in Lvl 8 soon! If I may think of anything to make it even better, it'd be music.

That you can easily do by loading up an MP3 player and play your favorite music. :-)

Hehe, I'm slowly working my way down the highscore list.

I think I need to be a little faster or a little luckier.

Indeed. Quite a fun and addictive little game for members to fritter away at while waiting for updates.

Heh, I'm too used to Tetris and various other puzzle games, that these new forms of games, such as Bejeweled or Luxor.

Still though, for never having played it, I'm starting to get the hang of it. Haven't reach the top 20...yet.

I like to use Basshunters techno remix of tetris... adds a little twist to the game i think

I've always loved games like these, and this is by no means an exception. I can't say I'm very fond of the timer, though. I can't enjoy the game as much as I would like with that damn timer ticking away. Still, masterfully done, bravissimo!

True Ashton, the only timer I like on a game is when the speed increases due to being at such a high level.

However, the timer is crucial, else how would you ever reach the next level until you've filled that timer?

I agree, filling up the timer guage is an excellent way to progress from one level to the next, but what I don't like is that you fail if the guage empties. I'd much more prefer that you not lose when the guage empties, but rather have to start over. As I said, having that loom over my head deeply subtracts from the enjoyment of the game for me.

Its suppose to be more of an arcade game that 'pushes' you to retry it over and over until you're good nuf. :-)

All the bar games at the Bar/Clubs usually have a timer bar.

Even Tetris is a ticking timebomb. If you fail to make the right moves, the pieces eventually stack (which is a timer effect) to make you lose. Not to mention the speed at which they drop increases.

The timer is a way to "end" the game, otherwise you will be playing indefinitely, and the point of High Score becomes totally useless. Because it will just be competition of who has the most time on their hands. Secondly, if you somehow played for a long time, and then you decide to quit, how do you post your high score? (We'd have to add another button for "Take Score" which just ends up making the game more complex.) We want the BonBon game to be unique. (No Classic Mode).

The timer is the "Rush" factor that gives people a sense of "Rush". Pumps up your adrenline. Of course that might not be very enjoyable for some people that can't handle stress.

It's a design choice we made for the 'fun' factor for some people. At the same time, we made the levels fairly easy to reach to level 8 as alot of people want to see Betty naked. After that level, its the push for the best Score!

We'll think of other games that will be more 'relaxing for you, Ashton.

I appreciate the gesture Ronald, but I hope you don't think I'm berating or condemning you or your work. If it seems that way, I do apologize, it was not my intention.

Its alright Ashton. Its simply not your cup of tea. I'm more for strategy and dark games, such as Arkham Horror.

A wonderful game where your all investigators trying to close the gates of other dimensions before the "Ancient Ones" consume us all, such as the more well known, Cthulu.

I do notice that my eye sometimes lingers on the timer when I've been on a level for a long time. The second time I got to level 9, I could never get chains further than 1 or two sets, so I wouldn't fill the timer up that fast. After awhile though, the timer sped up quite a bit, and even getting a single match didn't put a dent in the timer unless I did multiple sets of 1 or two.

darn it, I still can't get much farther than level 6... I tell you, this game is insidious! I even have a version of Gem Swap on my phone that I play constantly (usually draining the battery), and still my progress on the PBB Gem Swap seems to have hit a plateau...

A few tips for some of you then, as I've found in my playing it.

First, when you have a choice, make a horizontal combination over a vertical one. That seems to give me more of the chains.

Second, if you use the Hint bar, its not always the only combination. I've noticed I've skipped over a few possible pairs because I would focus on one or two common gem types.

Finally, If you can manage, hold off making a combination that you see in the corner. I sometimes keep it as a backup to help buy me time while I work in another corner of the game.

Hope these helped. *Gives everyone a warm smile*

I want to know who's the joker who made the top score without even going to the 8th level. He's probably letting the time run out and then making a bunch of moves.

The problem with trying to achieve a high score is, the higher the level the more the points, but the faster the time counts down.

I totally panic because of the timer. I blame Puzzle Quest where I have all the time in the world to make a move.

The high score for fob is a bug in the displaying when we fixed the recent high score code recorder. Should be fixed now.
