I wounder is Mary blame betty for what happens with red. It could be that red never tells marry. Maybe red just calls it off out of gilut. So many things can happen. Vanessa will not tell us :twisted: but it is better that way

Hmm...there are a few thoughts of what it might possibly be.

1) Betty fell in love with Red as well, and knowing Mary and Red don't truly love one another, that they're only friends, Betty tries to get Red for herself. Fool him away through the use of her friends, so he will break things off with Mary, so that it won't be directly her fault...Hmm, thats getting kinda far-fetched.

2) Betty cares far too much for Mary, and knowing Mary and Red don't truly love one another, she does what she can to get Red away from Mary?

3)...I had a third idea, but it suddenly was replaced by a craving for strawberry shakes. ^_^

This is still something we can only guess about. We don't know exactly why the engagement was broken off, and whether Mary ever found out about what Red was doing at the Delight Castle, and what she might think of him today.

But I'm sure it'll be very interesting to find out. I'm really looking forward to see what happens when Mary finally is allowed to leave the house with William, and whether she runs into someone from her past.
