Rest assured, Mr. Aaron, that the Bon Bon staff is diligently working on processing your custom avatar request as we speak. The finished portraits take time to create, color, and convert into a finished digital image.

When the final image is ready, you'll be glad so much time has been invested in such a wonderful and unique expression of you.

The Bon Bon staff (Vanessa, I believe.) provide this service and the resulting product as a benefit on a voluntary basis:
:arrow: They may not receive extra compensation for finished images
:arrow: They may work on customized avatars as their time allows (i.e., on their personal time).

In addition, the Bon Bon staff may have other prior custom avatar requests to process in addition to yours. Should this be the case, they will get to your request as soon as reasonably possible. When it’s ready for all to see, you’ll be the first one to know!

In addition, it appears all created avatars are used in the comics as deemed practicable, so your avatar may well be an ongoing process beyond the initial portrait for the forum. You might see your custom avatar appearing in the comics!

I noticed that you have been on this website for over 6 months, which means you're a Royal Member. I think it’s customary to do this when the custom avatar is posted, but congratulations on earning your status. I hope you enjoy the features available only to Royal Members. I’m jealous already.

But don't worry the list isn't very long. There is only 3 others after Aaron_Thom. (unless I missed one or two).
