I've seen this in another forum. So I thought I might start it here. Just post what DVD you are watching now or recently watched. Tell us about it if you want or just leave the title. Hopefully this will work....
I recently purchased "IRIA: Zeiram the Animation" an anime from the early ninties. Awseome animation. Great detail and good voice acting. Worth finding at Frys if you decide to get it. |

I was actually disappointed by it when I watched it in theaters, but I still wouldn't mind giving it another try right now. I don't think it's out on DVD where I live yet though.
I think I'll watch Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End now. |

Just finished watching Wisconsin Death Trip... crazy fuckin' movie....
Can't decide whether to watch My Name is Trinity (aka: Lo chiamavano Trinità; an Italian Western made in 1970) or Radar Men from the Moon (1952 installment of the Commando Cody/Rocket Men serials) next. I'm basically planning on doing nothing but watch movies all day tomorrow anyway... |

I watched it last week on TV!!
In Italy Terence Hill and Bud Spencer ( Trinità e Bambino) are very famous and good friends in the real life.
Actually Terence Hill is the protagonist of a well-known television series: Don Matteo. Hill is a priest that investigates and resolves the cases of murders and mysteries. Naturally Terence Hill is his artistic name ( real name Mario Girotti), he lived for a lot of years in America, where lost its son in an car crash, after to have done a film with him in America.
If you are interested he interpreted the famous cowboy of the French comic Luky Luke, he maked the movie and the series.
There is also a sequel of Trinità: "...Continuavano a chiamarlo Trinità 1971" and another cult western "Il mio nome è Nessuno " 1973. |

I've actually been a big fan of Sergio Leone's westerns since I was a kid, but I've only recently started delving deeper into the western genre, especially those made in Italy... Still, my favorites of Leone's movies continue to be The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo, 1966) and Duck, You Sucker! aka: A Fistful of Dynamite (Giù la testa, 1971).
Oddly enough, I've also been watching a few Italian horror films recently... sort of a perk from working at a video rental store, you get access to films that you don't normally see or hear about anywhere else. One of my co-workers is obsessed with the works of Lucio Fulci and Dario Argento, so he's often recommended films to me by one of those two directors... Lucio Fulci's Zombie (aka: Zombi 2 in Italy and Zombie Flesh Eaters in the UK, 1979) is my personal favorite, as it's the only movie I know of where a zombie fights a shark underwater!
Currently in my DVD player: Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (Chinjeolhan geumjassi, 2005), a Korean flick made by the director of Old Boy... |

| Oh yeah, and I'll try to keep my eye out for both of those movies you mentioned, Vanessa... I'm pretty sure we have the sequel, called They Still Call Me Trinity here in the U.S., and I'm not sure but I think Il mio nome è Nessuno is called either My Name is Nobody or Lonesome Gun here, so I'll have to look it up to see if it's available at my store under one of those two titles (which I imagine it is, since the store I work at has a ridiculously amazing selection of movies). |

Heh, a friend and I just finished the second season of Lost tonight! Such a great show...
Currently in the DVD player: Seasons 1 & 2 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, another great show, though for completely different reasons. |
