| Sure does. Even thought in Japanese, I can understand how the gameplay works. It's a SRPG. |

I sure would like to get it... but the import taxes here in Italy are murder (I should know: when I bought Super Robot Taisen W the taxes were higher than the game's cost!)
But I'll try anyway :D |

I hope the economy would gone down.
And I like the new units and Pilot BGM's. Leona's Sieguarlion is my fave as well as her song "Truele". |

I love Yuuki and Carla's theme as well. I also heard that the Armorlion is a real cheap unit as well.
And for those who didn't know, Banpresto is getting ready to release the sequel. For now it's known as Super Robot Wars OG Gaiden. It's basically takes the OG 2.5 that's included in OGs and continues on with 3 new mains. :D
And Xeb don't forget your sideorder of Weiss. On a side note the game also includes the Alteisen Nacht and the Beowulf one as a teaser. |

(Yes they are. They're ninja food! (Inuyasha reference) ::0tongue:: )
The neatest part is that we get to see Beowulf himself and play as the Soulgain...even if it's for a batte. |

Inuyasha? Don't you mean Naruto?
Personally, I think the neatest part (when I finally manage to get my hands on the game) will be playing as the super-versatile unit... i.e. Excellence! I mean, how many robots can switch frames to turn from Super to Real to Hybrid? Aside from the Huckebein III-L, I mean... :D |

Martin, Huckebein III-L is a Hybrid? After all my knowledge in Super Robot Wars Alpha the Huckebein III is a hybrid?
EDIT: Good news. The Official Single by JAM Project (Which is the OP and ED song of the Game) is due to be released next week on August 8, 2007. |

Well, as far as I know it's not... but given that the unmodified H3L is a Real, the Boxer configuration is a Super and the Gunner configuration is a Mobile Armor style weapons platform it is pretty close, I'd say. :D |

Nope... aside from the power source of the original one (a tiny, self-contained black hole) the Huckebeins have always been "Real" types, whether in OG or in Alpha. Mind you, they're still splendid units (the MP Huckebein II stands head and shoulders above many of the kind)...
But the only "super abilities" shown by them are due to a particular pilot, one Elzam T. Branstein... the only one I know that can surpass the bosses' theme with his own :D |

(I know Inuyasha called it that as well in several episodes as well.)
As of now Banpresto states that their are only two types of mechs, reals and supers. Officially there are no Hybrids (tho many cosider Coustwell in J to be one, while Granteed is a Super and the Bellzute is a Real.)
The Huckies are all considerd reals even when the Mk-III is combined with the AM Gunner or the Boxer frame. In Alpha you start with the Mk-II and end with the MK-III on the Real route.
The Elzam theme oddly started off as a glitch in OG1, when the programmers forgot to fix it, since he was an enemy except for 2 or 3 battles.
The Excellence Unit 1 and 2 are Reals till they get upgraded to the Lightning and Eternal frames which then are considerd Supers.
All I know is that their are rumors the Fiona may return in OG Gaiden. This is reinforced by the fact that in OGs, when you upgrade the 2 Excellences they look identical, but each has a unique Full Upgrade Bonus. BTW the three stars for OGG will be Raul, Fokka, and Roa. |

No hybrids? And what do they call Cybuster then? I mean, damn, the silver Masoukishin of the wind works on MAGIC (his engine is based on perpetual motion, for goodness's sake!), Masaki's co-pilots are CATS... he even uses a phoenix attack (Akashic Buster FTW, by the way... although I use more the CyFlash :D )!
All that would make it a Super... 'cept that Cybuster can't take a strong direct hit without going blooey, just like a Real would.
But if Banpresto says no hybrid, I guess he isn't... that would make it a Koutetsu Jeeg-like Super. |

There is a data about the mechas in OGS and any other SRW games. It'll also answer some questions about the mechs, including the Hucklebeins: http://srwog.velv.net/
Okay, Back to the topic: I do agree that there are No Hybrids in OGs or in OG Gaiden. And also, Cybuster is sometimes a Hybrid, but considered a Super Robot by Banpresto. |
