Im sorry guys i had to cancel tonights show. Im going to be doing it Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday now, as Saturday is not working out well for me. Please specify which day is better

Oh did you get a chance to check out the 3 new photosets on my site, plus there will be a new video up too in a couple of hours

Sorry Guys, i just got back from the Phoenix Forum. Im hoping now it will be next Friday, if im well by then.

I woke up last Thursday with conjunctivitis in my right eye, now today is starting to effect my left eye. So by tomorrow its going to be very hard to see. I gotta go make a doctors appointment tomorrow and get some eye drops or something :?

Martina thats really nasty i've had that before from wearing contact lenses. You must sort it out really quickly or it can do permanent damage. Please see a doctor ASAP :(

I woke up this morning with it even worse. My right side of my face is so swollen that i cant even open my right eye, plus its very red all around my eyelid. My left eye i can open half, so sorry if there is any spelling mistakes etc as i cant really see the screen too well.

Anyways i went to the Doctors and she said it was one of the worst cases she had seen. The infection has spread to my face and she was worried about it spreading to my nose and brain. She gave me an antibiotic injection, plus i have to go back tomorrow and tuesday for more injections. plus i also have antibiotic eyedrops and tablets

Im so bored not much you can do with only seeing from half a eye. Plus no one wants to come near me as its so contagious.

Ive also been told im not allowed to drink cause of the antibiotics and plus the sugar from alcohol feeds the bacteria or something like that. Plus ive been cut down to 5 cigarettes a day.

So if anyone has any ideas of stuff i can do with one eye to keep me from getting bored please let me know lol As watching the tv is making me dizzy :?

Martina please do exactly what the doctor says. Thats sounds really bad. I'm really worried now.

A long while back now I got a splinter of steel in my eye while I was working on my car. The steel rusted in my eye and I was wearing a contact lens on top of it so it really started to hurt and my vision was blurred. I ended up in the eye hospital where they dug it out and told me how lucky I was that I spotted it early.

Please don't take any chances you could lose your sight.

Please take care of yourself, Martina! I'm sending good thoughts your way! Doctor really does know best in this case, so the best thing to do is what you're told...hard as that may be. :)

The number of things you can do with only one-half of one eye is pretty limited. I would think reading would be difficult (books, etc.), and it's probably not a good idea to spend a lot of time squinting at the computer (reading this post, for instance).

Perhaps yor best bet is to cover your face with a cool cloth, load up your favorite music in the IPod and just lay back and relax. If that gets too boring, you can always break out your "goodie bag"...just make sure someone lays in a fresh supply of batteries!
