Fairytale in New York is my fave too :D.
Maybe because it'd the only Xmas song I can listen to without feeling physically sick from all the saccherine
Shane McGowan is a true genius. There's a touch of genius in every alcoholic ... which must make the Irish the smartest people in the world :lol:

My favs:
Abide with me:
http://media.gospelcom.net/ccm/mp3/AbideWithMe.mp3
Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide.
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O abide with me.
etc.
Such a nice song but it depends on your education I guess
The other one:
John Lennon - Merry Christmas (War Is Over)

I just watched this...and tears are streaming down my cheeks. Thanks for reminding me, Bennie!
"War is over
"If you want it.
"War is over
"Now."
Happy Crimbo, all! |
