We have to have the next issue of Battle Bitches soon. Any day now.
In the meantime, we have mini-short story of Battle Bitches Kyra.

I agree. Battle Bitches is great. I know the clone is basically a exploring unit for the people deep in the shelters.. but I'm not exactly sure what the Battle Bitches or the Fetish Tribes are.
When's the next issue coming out?

We got a new artist working the next issue. Things need to be fixed/adjusted to be consistent.
Not quite sure on ETA. We do have some fans suggested stories being made and one is finished with pencil and inked. just need colors and lettering.

Sometimes we post pages as they get done.
Other times, we wait til they're completely done to make any final changes or alternating based on the artwork.
Sometimes the artwork doesn't fit exactly with the script- and the dialogue might be too long to fit in a certain area, and so we end up making the dialogue shorter.
So to answer your question- it varies.
We usually post them as they get done if we know the artist is realiable to meet the deadlines. And only if the artist is also doing the coloring work himself.
Usually this is how comic is done.
Writer -> Penciler -> Inker -> Colorist -> Letterist -> Editor -> Viewer.
The editor in this case is usually me. Sometimes, I proof pages as they're getting produced in between inker and colorist. Cases where artist misunderstood the script and important key panels need to be redrawn specific to the script.
Some comics have the penciler, inker and colorist as the same person. (Yair of School Girl's Revenge).
Super Babes Force which we have not released yet- has Javier doing pencil,ink,coloring all himself as well (except the first issue).
We had a colorist for the first issue. And somehow we got a different one for the second one and that colorist was just not as great as the first one, and by the time Javier finished issue 4 - he started doing his own coloring on issue 5 and greatly improved his work. That's I got him to halt production of the new issues, and go back and recolor issue 2,3,4.
I want Super Babes Force to be perfect or close to a really complete comic series. It's really my personal favorite project that I'm the producer for. |
