The last few days i have been sent quite a few poems, so i thought i would share it with you :D
Heres the first one :
You leaned over and you kissed me
I felt my knees go weak
You leaned over and you kissed me
I couldn't even speak
You leaned over and you kissed me
With a passion flowing free
You leaned over and you kissed me
Sparks flew that we could see
You leaned over and you kissed me
A touch so soft and tender
You leaned over and you kissed me
A kiss I would remember
You leaned over and you kissed me
I'm sure I kissed you back
You leaned over and you kissed me
With the fire no kiss should lack
You leaned over and you kissed me
You left me wanting more
You leaned over and you kissed me
My soul you did explore
You leaned over and you kissed me
My heart no longer full of pain
You leaned over and you kissed me
Darling, kiss me once again |

I want to sleep, but i cant, there is much light, from a strange star, its
night, but there is so much light, which is coming, from up the sky, from
that strange star, which name is martina.
It gives light to me, but not only, life is coming, from up the sky, dead can rise, if martina gives, from her beautifull lips, a little kiss, which i need, to give me reason to live, to make me happy, for last time, and then if i die, i dont mind, cause ill die, with a big smile, cause real love, can never die, as many years, as long time, as many miles, as many lifes, we will go throw, ill always love you. |

Life is such a great time
Friends will pick you up whenever you are down
Since all we have in this life is time with eachother
Best we make it the best we can
There always coming a surprise out of the corner
It might just not always be nice
Things might not always seem sane
Sharing it with a friend takes away the pain
We all know friendship doesn't come at any price
Hope we can be friends for life.

Hey guys I found a copy of the St. Nicolaas poem I made for Martina :lol:
hmm for those who can't read dutch I will translate it soon! :P
Lieve Martina
Het is zover: Sint is weer hier
Heel Nederland heeft weer plezier
Pakjesavond is vandaag
Wat krijgt Martina, dat is de vraag?
Je bent alweer 21 jaren oud
Je wordt al groot maar blijft zu nu en dan toch stout
Toch weet de Sint niet wat hij je moet geven
Want waar zou jij nou echt plezier aan beleven?
Dus is Piet naar de winkel gegaan
En kwam er met dit cadeau weer vandaan
Weet je wat Martina in haar schoentje vindt?
Pepernoten met de groeten van Sint
De spanning stijgt rond je cadeau
Het is van zeldzaam hoog niveau
Pak 't maar uit dan hoef je niet langer te smachten

Haha, funny Satch, putting that rhime in here. I don't think Martina was looking for such kinds of poems, but it is still a poem though.
I am not a poet, nor is this one:

i have to be with you to live to breathe
you're taking over me
have you forgotten all i know
and all we had?
you saw me mourning my love for you
and touched my hand

i look in the mirror and see your face
if i look deep enough
so many things inside that are just like you are taking over
Just the lyrics of a song that impressed me. I wonder who will recognize it.

Hey satch, I love that poem, when you sent it to me for Sint Nicholas it was very nice thanks. Its always nice too, to be included into the dutch traditions :D
