Hey guys, I just got back from checking the “Work in Progress” area and Vanessa has uploaded some artwork for the cover of the next issue! It is so pretty she has really outdone herself this time. It’s hard for me to find words to describe it, so I recommend going to “work in progress” and taking a look for yourselves. :D

I gotta say the cover does indeed look awesome. I like how William had more of a Clark Gable look 20 years ago but the art is still amazing nonetheless. I'm really psyched for the new issue.

Page 1 is up. Cameos(so far) are: Constance,Crimson,Alexander Nelson,Ashton,Drake,Sha'kaar, Jonathan Stall,Xebulon,Doc Horton, Daphne, and a at least two other people who I can't make out right now. Not bad for the first group(and admittedly I won't rage as one of them really doesn't deserve to be there)hopefully more will be included or show up in either page 2 or 3.

I just got back from checking out the first page of issue 16, and it has gotten me extremely hyped for the rest of the comic. Oh btw congratulations on appearing as one of the cameo characters on the first page, Symphony. the same goes to everyone else who got made it to the first page of issue 16. i look forward to seeing what comes next. :D

And how exactly do you come to that conclusion? Anyone who has been a loyal, paying supporting of the comic has been granted to honour of having a custom avatar made and that avatar can then be seen in the comic as a cameo. How does this amount to not deserving to be there?

When a person only shows up after a year just to get on the list,gets cleared,and posts absolutely zero in 7+ years. Also to note that his last official post which as a year prior to posting on the list said he lost his job and only had prospects. To me that's not loyalty as he clearly violated the rule of not being an active poster and most likely stopped payment after his avatar was created if not sooner. I believe that people who got a free pass on their avatar don't deserve to be in the comic.

So one person is inactive and you say they are disloyal? How many custom avatars have been made? How many of them have appeared in the comic? How many of them post on a regular basis?

Hell, the only name out of that list of names you just rattled off, that I see post here on even a semi-regular basis, is Constance! Who are you to judge who is deserving of a cameo position?

Yes. Our loyalty was and is determined by both subscription and posting. To state:"If you would like Vanessa to create a custom avatar character image for you to use on the forum (and also pinup showcased in the Four Aces Suite), you need to be a paying member for 6 months AND actively participate on the Message Board." And:"Q: I'm a Royal Member for 6 months, do I have to post on the forum to get an Avatar made?
A: Yes. The reason why we're requiring this is to help promote Pleasure Bon Bon, through an active community. Also, it is a way of reducing Vanessa's work load. Drawing avatars takes alot of time, and we want people to post on the forum so they can show off their Avatar icon. This is also a way for us to help market the site! " Since this person didn't meet the terms and conditions to have his avatar made it shouldn't have been drawn in the first place and therefore not appear in a cameo. That's not me judging, it's using the rules as set at the time his character was created and prior to make a statement in which I feel that another person could've been selected for the cameo.

No more are being made, to the best of my knowledge. And if you think it'll only take 6 months to get one, you're wrong. It was... four years, I think, before mine was done.

My issue isn't with anyone who is or isn't posting currently. It's with the fact that this person wasn't an active poster prior to getting his avatar and only came back to get on the list. Should the Army promote soldiers who go AWOL? Should I be handing out black belts to students who only show up for only 2 classes in a month?

I think that you are getting bent out of shape over it just a little too much. Fine. I get it. You have an opinion. But you continue to emphasise it like you expect us to all rally behind you and start a petition or something. You, apparently, are the only one to actually be bothered about it and I can only wonder why?

I'm not bothered by it Silv. It's simply the fact that I had to continuously justify my opinion numerous times that it comes across this way. I also didn't nor don't expect anyone to rally behind what I said as I know nothing would be done to begin with. If you'll notice I only mention this person's name in the group and I've intentionally left his name out in subsequent posts for that very reason. Even if anything would or could be done, it would most likely delay other pages and they take a fairly long time to get in the first place so what good does it do anybody.

I don't think I've ever heard or read a more nonsensical load of BS than what you just said.

For one, how do you justify an opinion? It's an opinion. The very concept of an opinion defies justification. And the fact that you feel you need to justify your opinion inherently means that people disagreeing with you or having an opinion that conflicts with yours bothers you.

Well I could just continue this with you were the one who asked the questions about my opinion or in the hopeful interest of everyone, I purpose that we agree to disagree about my opinion. Quite simply we have another 15 pages of comic to go and I personally have more important things to deal with using my time than to continuously defend an opinion.

Couple of WIPs up. Looks like we're about to see Leaf,Daphne,and Periwinkle on one page. Betty and Mary lookin' very lovely in those dresses and Betty is about to drop that announcement on everyone.

Mary looks very lovely in that dress. I sometimes forget just how busty she is. And it looks like Betty's dress incorporates some sheer fabrics. :D


I can't help but be curious if somewhere along the line Mary will discover William's secret, that he really isn't gay, and perhaps take it upon herself to tease him while he tries to maintain his cover. hehehe

I too think Mary looks quite lovely in that dress, I also like how she looked in the original picture. Like how her eyes were once a pinkish violet and she had a purplish kind of nose, just simply lovely all around. :)

Given Mary's eagerness to explore her sexuality, and her desires to be with a man prior to this issue, I'm 80% sure she'd be very willing to keep William's secret from her father. I mean, just look how strong she came on to William in issue 7. If not for the threat of death, or worse, Mary may very well have learned more than just a new word from William.

On top of that, if she were to reveal his true identity, her chances of seeing Betty again would go out the window, I dare say, permanently. If she knew that Betty had set William up to get her out of the house and into town to see Betty, it would be more incentive for the blue beauty to keep William's secret.

If she learned of his secret, she may very well tease him, flirting and tempting him in all manner of ways, in spite of how treatment of her in issue 7.

She is naive, insecure, but above all, eager and curious. She was shocked by Betty's suggestion that two females do sexual things together, but I dare say not disgusted. All she knows of sex is what was written in a single novel. This single novel has been her only source (near as I can tell) of knowledge on the pleasures of the flesh. A single novel doesn't even begin to touch on the tip of what is a mountain in sexual experiences, both subtle and bold. She is a fish that has been raised in a glass of water all its life, and then dropped in an ocean. All she knew has been instantly expanded and broadened, like living in a spotlight and knowing nothing of what lays in the darkness, then having the entire room lit up. An entire world has been presented to her and it is a world full of what she has always craved.

I can't see any other outcome but her returning home, keeping this experience a secret from her father, and looking forward to the next day out when she can once again liberate her body of the bonds of fabric and frolic in the sexual experiences that Betty and the Delight Castle has to offer.

I understand were your coming from on this, you address some really good points some of which i can agree with. and yes Mary is a very curious, naive, and inexperienced woman as far as sex goes. I suppose if Mary did find out the truth about William she would attempt to take advantage of his weakness towards women and keep him under her thumb. but i also believe that Mary will eventually take up Betty's offer for sex between them both because again Mary is extremely curious and sexually inexperienced, after all curiosity coupled with a massive sex drive would equal some really interesting results. I personally would like to see Mary accepting Betty's offer and seeing how she would react to the whole thing, and maybe seeing her become a little bit of bisexual herself ::love:: :D
