|

((Okay... so while I'm delaying going to exercize, an odd thought occured to me.
Back in the days of Robert Jordan and the Wheel of Time series, my group of friends constantly debated how to pronounce some of the cities/places/names and whatnots. For example, we'd debate late about how to actualy pronounce "Matrim Cauthon".
Anyway, relating that to Pleasure Bon Bon and the forums... I know that Labrn has explained to me how he's thought his name should be pronounced, and... it made me wonder about some of our more esoteric names on the forums.
Like... Kiala Tigara.
I've always kinda thought it should be pronounced, "Kee-ah-lah"... so... is that correct?
And Artyom, I've figured should be "Are-teee-yoam".
So... any ideas? )) |

Sorry I didn't see this Thread earlier my apologies...anyway
You are very close, but rather than Are-teee-yoam"
It's said "Are-teyoam" the second half is all one word so to speak. |

Well for starters, in Spanish the vocal e has a long pronunciation.
I also think your name would have an orthographic accent if it was written in Spanish. But i lost my sense of grammar when i moved to the United States...11 years ago. |
