Why is it that London gets everything?

I know its the nations capital, but seriously, why? I mean when I was little, I used to watch a show called Blue Peter, and they always held competitions. But every time I entered it, the winners are always from the south or closest to London!

WHAT A RIPOFF THAT IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY, EVEN TO THIS DAY!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:

When I was little, I used to enter my work to Plue Peter competitions, only to lose by runners up and winners who are from the south, mostly London. I live in the North you see.

I MEAN! Isn't it strange that northerners like me, have not been mentioned, but all from the south are in competitions in a TV show called Blue Peter? Blue Peter is based in London, and they showed us the show in the North, talk about a bunch of rip off creeps!

Then perhaps this should be a rant about the show, rather than London in general? The title is fairly misleading if the only point you insist on making is about a TV show contest. Here in the U.S., it's a little more difficult to fully relate since the country is so vast. What I know, though, is that usually in things that are based out of a major city, they rarely give much consideration to anyone too far out of the way because they like to keep things local. Cheap, dirty, underhanded, etc. But isn't everything when it comes down to big business?
