Q: "Why is email sharing disallowed on the forum?"

All moderators have access to your email address whenever you post. So you do not need to post your email addresses to get the attention of the moderators. We disabled email addresses from being listed on forums for many reasons.

1. To keep everybody's email address private.

2. To protect members from getting Junk/Virus Emails from spammers/viruses that collect email addresses from websites.

3. To prevent any password sharing requests/content trading activities. This is VERY important. Lurkers of the forum, will harass you and will try to contact you for content trading. This is something we absolutely do not allow.

If you need a moderator to email you, you can request him/her to drop you an email.

Found out, after you get so many posts it appears as an option in the profile editor, I know you figured it out but I'll leave this here for any other new Guys or girls
