Vanessa and I have discussed the idea and have started to work on making this idea becoming reality.


First, We are working on a way for people to "Custom" create their OWN Avatar through our BonBon Avatar Creator. We're still working out the details on how this Avatar Creator will be used and where it will be used.

We're looking at having it be a part of a profile view of your account. So you can share with others what you looklike.

But mainly, we're looking at it being part of the character representation for the dating sims game. That leads us to the second part...

Second, we are working on a dating sims game. In which there will be a map representation of the Town, and you can visit various parts of the town looking for "hotties" to try to date.

We have discussed these ideas before and we're going to work towards making it happen!

How would you like the Virtual Dating Sims to be 'played' ?

There are various dating sims games out there, what playstyle/gameplay mode would you like us to use.

this is all intresting lol i been here for little over a year. and as for the dating game hmmm :/ is it possibale to make it interactive after you found thie hotties like a flash game almost?? and would it be single gender orineted or will there be the choise of between female or male players.

Well we're not quite sure about an interactive ending mixing the actual player with the hotties because that will just open up too much can of work.

Not possible for vanessa to draw every combinations of every custom avatar having sex with the hottie.

So the ending will most likely just feature the hottie in sexual positions and POV closeups.

This will allow us to have it so that it can be any gender and any player avatar to date the hottie.

Possibly even options later to date 'male hotties' for those who prefer to pick up male dates.

well most of us have an FA account and have gotten commission's done of are fursona's

I know that some games like SIMS is it? Give you a generic body type and you can change the hair style,colour, eyes ect. I assume that you would have a stock species body type , Fox/wolf/canid, Feline/domestic/wild, lapine or musteline. With which you could change fur/hair markings and clothes.

I was never really interested in having Silvador drawn. But I figured I'd been here for long enough, why not. But if that is going ot be how he gets "drawn" then I'm going to forget it.

I understand Vanessa has a lot of things to do and can't spend a great deal of time just sitting around and drawing avatars. But having her actually draw them is over half of the appeal of getting one. And the wait only serves to further weed out those that are truly loyal to the forum/site instead of just signing up for the avatar. This essentially creates less work for Vanessa because when it comes time to draw the avatars for thoe who "just signed up for a free picture" will likely no longer be around and she can move to someone who truly deserves one.

The whole dating game sounds nice. I've never played any of those games but they sound like they'd bring some more enjoyment to the site/forum. But a "Make your own avatar" just sounds like a ripoff. That's my opinion.

I would definately offer up my character for this kind of project. I'm sure that since we have more than enough male characters, is there going to be a female play mode so that they can date the men? or other women for that matter?

i don't think it's going to completely replace custom avatars done by vanessa, i think that it's going to be custom avatars for the game.

this is only my opinion and i could be dead wrong, but i don't think they'd give people the shaft just like that

Sounds interesting. I don't really know much about dating sims, but I'm curious about the avatar creation. The most appealing thing, though, is the map of Bon Bon and the chance to walk around in it. That sounds really good. :)

For the dating-sims I've played, most of them tend to be "life-sims" in style. That is, multiple paths, multiple things to balance, multiple stories, and multiple endings. To see some examples of dating-sims that have been translated into English, check out the JAST-USA / J-List sites. That might be... a hugely ambitious adventure, if you guys are going to conduct a dating-sim in that style.

Or, do you more mean something where you can play an avatar, wander around Bon-Bon, meet some of the cast of Bon-Bon, and have intimate relations with them? Sort of like a Flash-program game adventure. That is, a much more streamlined/abridged story. That might be more doable, and then you wouldn't have to worry about story-paths as much.

Anyway, the idea sounds interesting. It reminds me of when "Vixen / Quest For Fun" was talking about making a sexy-fighter game, and an adventure game. ))

We will still Honor the Custom Avatar handdrawn by Vanessa for those who have been cleared already (assuming they are active of course).

And any final clearing that I'll do later on when it gets closer to Vanessa doing them.

But at some point we are of course going to be so bottledneck that Vanessa may not be able to do all custom avatars future new members expecting one. It really depends on their active status and loyal committment and Vanessa's time.

She is currently squeezing in custom avatars work right now is last I heard. So expect some avatars soon.

I ike this idea. Only thign is i hope there's alot of species chooses and clothes. Also tih scoudl be a free thing nad for more clothes or more chnages cost. Thats my idea.

I'm not that experienced when it comes to playing dating sims, so I can't really give any thoughts on gameplay. However, I prefer the idea of the ending being various pinups, rather than flash games. I'm just not a fan of flash games, but I do love pinups. :D

If you want to have a game featuring players getting to have sex with these female "hotties", how about limiting the players to be someone like William? You could have various endings with the female characters, but Vanessa would only have to draw William with them. An idea could be to have various endings for each female character, where the prize is a pinup featuring some stills of William having sex with the female. It could be done in black & white, to save Vanessa some work. To compensate for the lack of colors in the pinups, the pinups themselves could be like a page from the comic, featuring the sex scenes. So you get a small scene with a beginning as well as an ending, depending on your choice of partner and possibly also depending on how you've played the game.



Regarding the custom avatar. How much will it actually be seen in the game? I don't know much about dating sims, but my impression was that you're basically being transpoted from one location to the next, without actually seeing your character move around and such.

Also, will this custom avatar being integrated with one's forum profile in any way, or will there be some way of linking forum profiles with site profiles?

Our long term goal is to create it so its site wide profile avatar.
Possibly down the road it will also appear in the casino aspect of the game, where you play against one another and you earn money to buy clothes to dress your character so when you play against others, you can use the avatar as a representation of yourself for interactive stripping games.
