I had been out last week clubbing... lol it sounds radical to call it that. I drank nothing but vodka, but that's all everyone kept buying me, see I went in there with absolutley no money and decided I would just play it cool... In other words, wait for all my friends to declare that they would buy a round for us all. I ended up with alot of free drink. All in all it was a fun little night, I went home and had a lovely snooze. No hangover either! I t must have been the glasses of water and red bulls I kept getting.

So last night I got a call, "hey wanna come over to my house? We'll go get chinese then cider and then play my Wii!" It was not the most riveting time, but a nice little get together for a bit of catching up. I had a bit of fun.

The same friend has a party planned at her house next Saturday too, I'll be hitting up that as well because it's themed, she's calling it a pimp party and we all have to dress up like pimps and hoes. Which needless to say will be hilarious and awesome beyond comprehension. We'll all bring some drink and get our grooves on. Lovely.

But sometimes I can't be bothered at all, tonight for instance, I was thinking of going out to this bar where an old friend of mine is performing in with his band. but I just don't want to give two shits and a fuck about it. I really need to cut myself off from the outside world sometimes but I feel bad about missing out. Fortunately my give a fuck meter is strongly in favour with sitting at home, stuffing my face and snuggling up in bed with a laptop and a cup of hot chocolate.

Sometimes I just feel... totally drained as if some limit in my body has maxed out. Some days, YouTube and the interwebs is enough to keep me more than happy.

Aaand that's enough venting and drama from me.

Humans are very contradictory creatures. We are both 'herd' animals, wanting the comfort and security of being within the crowd and yet needing to feel that we are also individual.

Some thing I liked to do, and have been unable to due to medical conditions, is to drive out to a quiet fishing spot very early on a Weekend morning, usually when I know it is going to rain, and in Britain that seems to be every weekend :D
Set up a small tent and my rod and line and just sit there listening to the rain on the canvas and watching the patterns it makes on the water. I never catch anything but that does not matter. I just find it very calming.

I know what you mean. I have always loved the "pitter patter" sound of rain too, it's very calming... As long as it's not lashing down. I've only ever been fishing once myself and I was a little kid at the time, perhaps I should give it a shot in the future. Camping is fun though, I love camping. Every time I go camping I want it to rain at night when I'm inside the tent, it makes me feel all cosy and safe.

Pluse it keeps it from geting hot and muggy inside. Well here at my house it can rain with not a silgle cloud in the sky. >.> Florida weather is tricky sometimes.

I know what you mean Cats. I shut myself off quite often, thought I was never very outgoing. The few people I do chat with online get mad when I just vanish, but it's good to just shut the electronics off and read for an entire day. Rain, shower, or washing dishes are all very soothing for me. I LOVE washing dishes by hand. I'm a weird guy with ADHD and....oooh shiny...MINE!

-Stops flashing the smooth rock with the sunlight-

Settle down Vedo.

It happens to us all, brah. At times, you just wanna run off and jump around with all your buddies and at othe times, you just show them the middle finger epicly and sit down to go do something else or nothing at all. Humans are complex creatures. Hell, having some form of variety with everyday life helps too.

More like ADOS (Attention Deficit Ooo Shiny) Vedooril.

Huh I thought I was the only one that likes the Rain.

I do that as well sometimes I want to go spend some time with my friends and go do something fun and other times I lock my self in shut of my electronics and read a good book, right a song or some poetry, do some repairs to something or just take a walk outside and admire the beauty of nature.
