Liking the cover and can't wait to see the 1st page as well as the cameos, but especially Bridget. Even if she's with other guys.
Also I'm loving Lady Vanessa in her nurse outfit, though I wonder who is the (un)lucky victim... |

| Red maybe? He got slapped very hard by Betty so maybe he's more hurt than we thought. |

I'm so excited about this new issue of the comic. :D
We're going to see some new cameos, and I'm really looking forward to seeing which direction the story will go. I'm also still hoping to see more of the town itself. |

I think it is much more likely that Ms Vanessa will be acting as a introductory narrator while dressed in a nurses uniform rather then a participant in the actual story. Much as Ms Vanessa appeared in one of the earlier issues dressed in a business suit. |

| Probably. Wherever and whenever you need a narrator, there Vanessa will be, conveniently dressed to fit in. |

Even if she is just a narrator, Vanessa still looks awesome in that nurses outfit, can't wait to see her in full color.
Our beloved Leader sure has our attention, keeping us on the edge of our seats as always. |

I too am eager to see what will transpire in the new episode.
On a side note, is Red holding the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch on the cover there? |

((Bedlam Fox,
Actually, I think Red is holding a Censor. Censor's used to be badges of office during Roman times. So, if Red is suppossed to be representing the "King" it would make sense that the King would carry a Censor. )) |

(lol, thanks Caroline, I was aware of what it was, just a joke is all.)
All seriousness though, I can't wait will unfold in this next episode, especially whats going to happen between Red and Betty now. Also, I kinda want to see Edelweiss make another appearance or least hint at what she is doing now... dunno why she intrigues me... |

((Tearlach,
I don't think Red is suppossed to be a Knave/Jack. I think he's suppossed to be the King of Clubs.
Here's my take on why Red is the "King of Clubs".
First, Clubs can also be called "Wands", "Staves", or "Rods". All of which are… phallic symbolisms of power and Kingship.
Next, the Clubs suit is traditionally the suit of entrepreneur ship and risk-taking. Remember, Red's family were vintners, and Red is having to risk a lot to join this fraternal order he so wants to be a member of. Also, the suit itself often represents the attributes of initiative, ambition, drive, and desire.
Thirdly, the King of Clubs also represents the classic notion of a conquering/victorious hero. He is charismatic, and tends to lead more than follow. He is an overachiever, doing more than is necessary to prove his worth and drive.
However, he also is driven by the negative trait of wanderlust. He doesn't necessarily want to "mind the store", and gets bored or restless with the status quo. He can be egotistical, and fooled or tricked by flattery and false praise. His ego can also lead to acts of despotism and depravity.
Mind you, this is all my conjecture on the subject. Sometimes a cigar, is just a cigar. )) |

Fear not, old chum. It is a well know fact that as soon as any thing is explained in the BonBon Universe, it is immediately replaced by some thing even more fiendishly complicated! Now to the Fox-mobile!
