We all wear masks, a different mask to different people. One for our family, one for strangers one for work collegues one for managment, even among friends we wear seperate masks for each one.
Being a Furry is more then just one more mask though. It involves changing your whole appearrance becoming some thing compleatly different, becoming what we are not. Not just playing a part, becoming the part.

An interesting choice of words. Humanity has many masks that they portray to others. I guess expression can be a mask all on its own.
