A second fursona for Tearlach

This will be an introduction for my Fursona's sister Talitha Desson

and her "pet" spider Matilda or Tilly as it is affectionately known.

I thought I would upload a conception sketch of Talitha by the same artist.



The difference in styles is due to the artist using pencil and paper for the concept sketch and computer padd for the final commission.

Matilda is acually a "vegetarian", she only eats soft fruits such as oranges, lemons (not a favorite) kiwi fruit and melons (her favorite) and the "hardest" fruit skin her fangs can penatrate.
In the wild her species spins webs between fruit trees to catch the ripe fruit before it hits the ground and spoils.
Matilda is quite intelligent, about the same as IQ as a chimpanze, and usually " speaks" with soft hisses and leg movments.
However Talitha has taught her several phrases which she can repeat parrot style, "Hello sailor", "Give us a kiss" and "Tilly want a melon".
In addition, like her smaller cousin the tarantula, she can fire poisonous hairs at a foe with a flick of her abomen. Though these hair are not fatal, only causing a very irritating rash, like poison ivy but a dozen times worse.

Matilda is very friendly and will only attack if she is attacked herself and has no means of retreat and/or escape.

Relationships: Sister to Tearlach Desson and joint Guardian to Biebhinn Desson.

History: Talitha is a fully qualified chemist with a degree in chemical engineering fom Edinburgh University. Talitha discovered Matilda on expedition she lead up the Congo river.
Talitha has chemically reproduced the web that Matida produces to create a strong and almost weight-less material used in the construction of her brothers Airship the Deadalus.

Personallity: Talitha has a wicked sense of humor and has embarrassed Tearlach on many occasions. She is very fond of Matilda and Beibhinn and is very protective of both. As to relationships.... well you will find out.

I would have to study what problems spiders suffer from. But I am thinking it may be fun.

I am looking to Rp with Talitha, but I would be unconfortable with straight sex scenes. Though "Carry on" or other comic-like situations would be fine.

If however any one wishes me to write a story with their character and Talitha or write one them seleves I am willing to do so.
