Time Delay in the Updates

For the past few months, and possibly even before that, there has been a slight glitch as to when each of the updates are recieved in the main site. It is possibly just me, but I see some updates come up stating that, for example, the update for March 19, yet I have not recieved it till the 29th, up to ten days later. Am I the only one to notice this?

I too have noticed these " Glitches" in which updates and more specificly comic pages are " Backdated". ie a page posted on the 29th will be stated as being posted on the 19th even though it was not available before the 29th.
I theorize that Ms Vanessa has R/L commitments that means, the lady cannot keep to the schedule of a page a week and instead the new pages are posted evey ten to fourteen days instead.
However these new pages are then back-dated to the original weekly schedule to conceal this fact from the subscribers.
I hope this is done to spare Ms Vannessa's feelings rather then an effort to decieve the subscribers. I would also like to think that the management believe we are too polite to say any thing about this rather then too "Dumb" to have noticed.

Oh, yes. That's been the case for years. Updates are backdated to fake looking more regular than they actually are. Don't know why they bother.

I personally don't care. I get to read new pages on a regular basis and if a page is not there when I expect it will be, then I understand that Vanessa has other and sometimes more important thing to do than draw comic pages all day. I don't really care if the pages are not delivered every Thursday, or whatever day, on the dot. It's not like we are waiting for a month between every page.

I kinda guessed that might have been the case. I suppose those were the dates they were initially coming out, but missed the quota. Not that I mind, since we always encourage real life problems first and the site second, so I'm good, I just was'nt aware if it was just a glitch or something.

It doesn't matter to me. We get a new page each week. Personal avatars and holiday games are done when they're done. The dates of the updates doesn't change any of this. At least not the way I see it.

This has been mentioned before in a different thread and has been explained on the delays sometimes.

But overall yes. Things have been "back dated" because we missed the deadline. It doesn't change the fact that there is a needed update for that week. We do not cheat members on actual number of updates.

You just get them late. So at the end of the day. You're still getting your updates. Just late.

And for those who "just joined" the sites, it doesnt matter does it? They are getting like a TONS of updates for the one month they "just signed up to". So these people have nothing to complain about. They skipped out on paying membership for many months and got a ton upfront. For those who have been awesome members and supporting us regularly, you'll notice you're getting the updates regardless, just a matter of when.

We're caught up now so your updates should be only delayed by a day or a less than a week tops!
