I don't think one can be a samurai and a ninja. They do have core principles where ninjas use deception and cunning, where samurai have their honor and prestige to maintain peace.

Just like Rikardo for what she is, before her brother died, she was a samurai, but when he did, she then took his place as a ninja.

I did do my research, I just listed core differences between the two, thats all. I did'nt want to sound off-putting, its just it could'nt be done. If she was a disgraced samurai, that might be a different story though if she could'nt even be honored with the option to commit suicide.

1)Your age:Your character was born in 1873 in which the Samurai class lost their land,monthly stipend,and monopoly on the military.

2)Even the Onna-Bugeisha(lit. female warrior(s))were held to same standards as their male counterparts in terms of honor.

3)Samurai were considered upper class while ninjas were made up of peasants.

4)Ninja became obsolete during this time as well since their services were centered around the different Samurai clans.

5)Ninja wore mostly civilian clothes to help blend in villages to avoid capture.The usage of the shinobi shōzoku was used for night time attacks.

Rikardo is a Ninja, in which had imigrated to Bon Bon. She remains covered so that no one realises that she's female, and not male as they think she is? Kinda like Sheik from Legend of Zelda.
