Provided that Ron or The Fatman don't pull a sneaky move on me, this posting will mark the point of 1000 postings for me. Let the trumpets sound! All hail Wildcard the supreme. HEY, that gives me a great idea. Ron, how about changing my forum status to Supreme Member in honor of this momentous occasion? 8)

We'll have to see what we can do on that rank. :-)

Do ranks ever change on their own without admin help?

Since Wildcard was the First to get up to 1000, I say we reset his rank to 0. You know, so he can work up there again. Otherwise he'd be content and lazy with 1000 and wouldn't want to post anymore. :)

I'm sure Ronald will side with me on this.

Yes- the Ranks do change. We haven't set ranks for the higher level posting counts.

For the low levels, people can become Senior Members or Mr Fabulous.

Oops, was I in error, Ron? So a person's forum status changes automatically on its own whenever a certain number of posts have been reached? I just thought you changed them manually on your own, but I guess that would be a bit time consuming for you to keeps tabs on everyone's posting count.

Personally, I believe in the quality of the posts and not the quantity....

It's all just for fun. If you're coming here to make nothing short of award winning, five star postings then you are taking things just a tad too seriously. Doesn't sound like fun to me, but I guess everyone has their own slant on what fun is.

Just thought I would take a shot at making at least one attempt at a five star posting, but I think a couple stars went AWOL on me. Oh well, back to horsing around.

Wildcard ... Goody-Goody Gum Drops! (I can have smartass humor sometimes too, you know ... This isn't something held exclusively by the Wildman himself!) ...

But congrats, pal! Of course I'm remarking on this triumph late, so you now are already close to 1200!!!

It's really not as big a deal as it may seem. You got to realize, at the "Home", Wildcard is able to play on the computer for several hours a day as part of his recreation time. So he has a lot more time for posting messages than other people who are not institutionalized.
