No, I'm not leaving or anything, but I will post here as often as possible.
As of 1AM on the 15th of December, my father was involved in a fatal car accident. While on his way home yesterday with my uncle, a semi ignored a red light on an intersection and broadsided my father's vehicle. He was been proclaimed to be deceased on site and was taken to the hospital to be evaluated by the mortician. My uncle, although sustained some broken bones and a punctured lung, he will live to see another day.

Thanks everyone. My uncle will be taking me in until the matter is settled about the division of my father's assets. Most of which will be going to me and my sister, though there will be some things for my uncles as well. I appreciate your sentiments and your support.

WOW Rune im soo sorry about your father i wish i could hug you i fortunately still have my father but i know what its like to lose family so close to Christmas and i hope your family stays strong and together in the face of this tragedy

Guys..... I'm so mad right now. I think I'm going to have a heart attack. My dad was not dead. He played the worst prank on me, and he put all my uncles up to it to fool me. I'm relieved, but so fucking mad. I swear I'm going to put him in the grave for real!!! I was given fucking photos of his body being all blue and clammy looking. I was at my aunt's house this evening, and when I was just watching a movie with my cousins, my dad just patted my shoulder. When I saw him, first thing I did was cry. Then I went to punch him in the jaw for what he did.

Sadly, a perfect example of what twisted depravities today's minds are capable of conjuring up.

I'm not sure what's worse. Having your dad die, especially close to Christmas. Or for it to be a prank he cooked up with the aid of half the family.

If I were in your shoes, I'd return whatever gifts you got him and get him a big box of coal. And that is not a joke. He deserves worse in my opinion.

All I know was that I lost so much sleep grieving over him. I'm just lucky that I'm moving out so I don't have to deal with this crap anyymore. I'm sorry for pulling you guys along on my guilt trip, only to find that it was not even real.
