The Meeting of Two Lovers (Dorian and Jane)

Jane was in a small cafe, not very big. Just a small one, and was sipping some coffee. She hadn't had any cookie dough for a while now. Though she was simply thinking about stuff, dreaming about her life to come. As well as the years she had spent. Deep in thought she leaned back in her chair. She was sitting out on the outer plaza where people ate. Under a small tree, enjoying the shade.

Dorian was walking down the road. With a content smile on his face. Cane in hand, he breathed in the fresh air around him. He wasn't wearing his hat, and he was walking with his back straight, and his posture perfect. His long coat sweeping behind him, and his tail brushing the ground. When he was about to take a turn down the street. Something caught his eye, giving a closer look. He saw a woman, now Dorian had seen many woman. Though strangely he looked at this one, as if he had never seen a woman before in his life. As if the sun had risen just right that day, and by some amazing chance the sun hit her body just right. As the light radiated from her like a mirror. It was almost blinding, but Dorian could not look away. For he was unable to look away, his eyes stuck to her like glue for a second. Unable to move, unable to breath, unable to blink, unable to think, he stood in the middle of the street just starring at her. Then darting over to the entrance of the cafe. He walked in and requested a table on the outer plaza. Then being quickly moved over to a table. He sat only a few tables away from her. Getting a newspaper, he pretended to read. While he would on occasion look up to see her, while he would then quickly dart his head down again. He had no idea how to confront her either. He couldn't just walk up and say something.

Jane was just sitting and drinking her coffee. With a happy smile on her face, she sighed again. Her Pink dress was shimmering, and her violet shirt was spotless. While her veil in her head waved in the small breeze. As her long brown hair draped down behind her. Her basket sitting at her side, her eyes wandered across the plaza. Then her green eyes saw something else. A tall Fox wearing a black coat, and a Grey vest. Now usually her eyes would keep moving on, but for some reason she stopped at him. Something about him, the way he sat his tall and straight posture, the regal and formal look in his face. Then as he looked up at her, she looked at him. For a second they both starred at each other. Unable to look away, and their gaze unbreakable. Though then they both drew away at once. She blushed a little bit, smiling she looked at him again trying to see his eyes better. Then looking away again she and then looked back with a smile. As the fall leaves then fell around her in the breeze. Her veil waved, and her green eyes looked at him. Hoping that his would look back.

Dorian blushed as well, with a smile. He pretended to read the paper still. He remembered every detail. Her Rose Pink dress, and her long brown hair. The blue veil that covered her head, and the violet shirt. Though her eyes where what caught his attention most. They where green as jade, and sparkling like emeralds. The power that there was behind them was almost overwhelming. How could anything compare to them. Then peeking out from behind his paper again. He looked over to try and see her again.

As Jane looked at him, there eyes met once again. Though for this second she looked harder into his. Trying to see into him, then drawing away again she blushed more. His eyes held behind them, a power that she had never seen in any man before. A will of iron, and a heart full of love and passion. A mind well learned and well tamed, but yet as strong and imaginative as time itself. A mighty and powerful king, and yet as docile as a young pup. Proud as a lion, but never cocky and arrogant. She smiled and looked back at him, he was amazing. Falling in love with him almost instantly, she smiled. Though she had no idea what to say to him.
