Claire (as many of you know her as Mayfield) is currently stabilized and being kept in an intensive care unit. The doctors were able to obtain the blood needed to replenish her system and are watching over her to see how her body reacts. At the point I visited her, she was still under sedation, however, she should be awake within the next few hours and possibly released. I believe that she will be attending some rehabilitation as well as having several psychological testing done to see if she is no longer a danger to herself. I thank everyone for their concern, especially those who were able to unknowingly support her spiritually here on the forums.

As far as Bio goes, he is torn up over all of this. I hope everyone will support him, along with Mayfield's family during these rough times.

Right...So the fact I was sitting at the hospital about 2 hours ago, doesn't mean anything? Bio pretty much freaked. I've been trying to get him to calm down. But *shrug* You'll see within the next few weeks. I'm just here to try and cheer up her friends. Hence the reason why my account was made a month ago, but never used because I rarely have time to get online..anyway I called Bio a bit ago and woke him up, so..I'm guessing he'll be on here soon.

Yes you may Hoshiginiro. In fact I welcome most questions. I am a close family friend of Claires. I've known her for about 7 years, give or take a few months.

EDIT: I apologize for my slow responses, multitasking aswell.

Brain damage is assumed 95% of the time when Oxygen is cut off from the brain for an amount of time, usually prolonged. Whether you call it luck, a scientific miracle, or someone bigger putting a hand in, from what they can tell, she'll be physically fine after the rehab and drugs have worn out of her system.

I personally don't know you, nor had experience with you in any forums I've ever been in, However, you seem like a very pessimistic and depressing person, even if the point you made is valid.

No, I do not know how she will be acting in a few days, nor do I know to what extent any mental or spiritual damage has been done to her.

I do know however that her family and friends, Bio and myself included, are joyed at the fact that she hasn't passed.

Weirdly enough, they don't announce suicides anymore...*shrugs* not surprising with the suicide/homicide rate here. I can understand hospitals not wanting to let all the information out. Political bullshit, we all understand that.

Anyway, to officially introduce myself, I am Crow. Musician and Professional Troll. Nice to meet you all.

I also tend to be a bit more practical when it comes to details. I'm sorry, I don't mean to drag everyone down. I'm not saying this isn't great news, it's fantastic news... you really have no idea how happy I am to hear that she is alive. But, I just don't want to see everyone get existed just to get shot down again. I'm sure everything will be fine. I'm sure that in time she will return to us her old, happy, play self.

Please, Mayfield/Claire..... Forgive me for all I have said to you.

True, but as she isn't dead *knock on wood* it could explain your troubles in finding the records.

From what I understand, she won't be committed...it'll be sessions with a shrink until they feel that she doesn't need to be going there anymore, or until she is deemed capable of deciding herself not to go anymore. Since I'm back in town though, I'm assuming most likey 2-3 times a week for one hour sessions for a month or two.

EDIT: Whether she wants to go or not :p Better to get help for her now before..well..yea I won't be a downer, but you all understand.
