Being shot at simply means that the enemy is firing their weapons at us but so far no one has been injured or killed.We rest when we can but we do our best work at night.

Thanks Aaron.Our connections to friends and family is keeping us fairly grounded.I'd be lying if I said that we weren't afraid a little bit even those of us who've been in Iraq or Afghanistan before.But as I've learned a little fear can keep you alive.

Some thing along the lines of our forces shoot a single bullet in the direction of the enemy, they return fire with a machine gun, you return fire with a machinegun they come back at you with rocket propelled grenades.

Up the ante or more often used Ante up is an expression used in Poker to denote placing bets.The more money placed the bigger risk of losing the money or gaining more money.The reason it's a sick game here is because the terrorists are willing to sacrifice civilians in the worst of ways.

We've been recently briefed about people from Ghana, Angola and Nigeria who are posing as U.S. service members on dating sites scamming women.If you know any women who use these sites warn them.If you're a woman who uses these sites be very careful of individuals posing as military members.

Afghanistan was already bad but WikiLeaks made it worse.Trying to stay out of their sights is a little more difficult considering the amount of attacks but we somehow manage to survive the onslaught.

If you've ever wondered how crazy things can get we gotta go look for some Afghan soldiers who got captured,Pakistan lost a lot of their foodstuffs from the flooding+cholera+Ramadan=absolute suck.And finally my personal favorite,Iranians decided to dig mass graves and(using their words)"any Americans who cross our border will be killed on sight and buried here."
