Insomnia

[Abi_Western]

Abigail was walking through the park, it was the middle of the day and she was feeling rather tired. She stopped by the pond beside a big tree and sat under it, looking out to the water.

Abigail had been having trouble sleeping for a while now.
(I'm very bored)

Shane was walking through the park, enjoying the scents and sounds that surrounded him. He was walking close to the water and stopped to feel the gentle breeze blow over his white fur.

[Wolf Stride]

Wolf only sat by the grass near the water, seemingly reading a book. A soothing breeze of air wafted over him and ruffled a bit of his fur at the time. With a natural silence, the wolf slid another page to read the contents.

[Abi_Western]

Abigail sighed and looked around her, there was a few people out and about but it wasn't going to bother her.

As she looked around a breeze moved past her and an apple fell out of the tree, hitting her on the head.

"OW!" She yelled loudly before quickly sitting up and rubbing her head, she turned to face the tree and in a fit of anger kicked it.

Causing a second apple to hit her on the head.

"Agh!" Abigail held her head and looked up at the tree as if it were a person she hated "Darned it."

[Silvador]

Swiftly, Shane turned his head to face the direction he heard a voice calling out.

Walking casually up to the tree, his cane shifting back and forth in front of him, his eyes closed, Shane spoke in a calm friendly voice.

"Perhaps the tree thought you were hungry."

[Wolf Stride]

In a seren silence, Wolf continued reading his book, when an apple gently rolled to his side. With some curiosity, he grabbed the red fruit within his hands and looked at it, before looking back at the direction from where it came. Up atop the small hill where a couple of furs atop an apple tree. This apple must've come from that and so, Wolf stood up and began walking towards them.

"Someone lose this?"

Wolf asked while tossing the apple in the air, only to grab it in his hands again.

[Silvador]

"The tree, from what I heard," Shane said turning to face the new voice.

[Abi_Western]

"Ugh, Yes the tree."

Abigail sighed and continued to rub her head, "I'm such a clutz"

[Silvador]

Shane smiled.

"I rather doubt it," he said gently.

[Wolf Stride]

"Well accidents happen evrynow and then. It shouldn't be reason to be called a clutz."

Wolf answered as he took a bite into the apple he had grabbed.

[Silvador]

Shane walked up to the tree, his cane shifting from side to side in front of him until it tapped the tree trunk. Lifting his cane, he gave the tree a solid poke and stepped back, flicking out his arm and chatching another apple as it fell. Smiling, the Arctic Wolf took a bite from the apple and began to walk away again.

[Abi_Western]

Abi looked on at the Arctic wolf as he walked away. "I didn't catch your name."

[Silvador]

"Shane," the wolf said.

[Abi_Western]

"Okey dokey Shane, it's a nice day isn't it? And what have you been up to, Wolf?"

[Wolf Stride]

"Reading. Nothing more. Mr. Shane, wouldn't you like to stick around?"

Wolf looked to the side to look at the Artic Wolf as he took another bite of the apple.

[Silvador]

Shane stopped and turned to face them once more.
"Just 'Shane' will do," the wolf said, "And I suppose I can stay, I have nothing better to do, really."

[Abi_Western]

"Yay! Perhaps we can talk a while. I've been busy lately, with work."

[Silvador]

"What do you do?" Shane asked, walking back up to the tree and taking another bite of his apple.

[Wolf Stride]

Wolf nodded towards the Artic Wolf.

"I see. Today is a fine evening to enjoy the outdoors and enjoy nature."

[Abi_Western]

"House keeping." Abigail sat back down under the tree.

[Silvador]

Shane smiled a sly smile.

"I bet you get some interesting messes to clean up in this town."

[Wolf Stride]

Wolf only snickered at his comment but just took a bite at his apple once more, almost done with the fruit and sitting down by one side of the tree.

[Abi_Western]

"Huh, you don't know the half of it!" She said laughing slightly.

[Silvador]

Shane sat down.

"Tell us, then," he said.

[Wolf Stride]

"It would certainly sound like an amusing story."

Wolf answered as he placed the apple core by the tree's roots and leaned his back on the trunk.

[Abi_Western]

Abigail blushed at the question to share it with them.

"Um... Well, there's only a couple... and the key element in all the stories is... me." She brought her legs up to hide her face.

[Silvador]

(I'm thinking we broke Abi. I'm not sure she was expecting that turn and now she has to think of wild messes for her character to have to clean up.)

[Abi_Western]

(Exactly. gimme a break, god!)

[Silvador]
